Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending November 6, 2011
Welcome to the CAS (Clean And Simple ) Favorites Thread. Here is where you can give recognition to your favorite creations for the week. Everyone is invited to participate.
I have some news! Susan aka LateBlossom started this thread three years ago to recognize CAS creations. I call her the CAS Queen. I appreciate and admire Susan. Sadly she needs to step down from starting this thread each week.
You will see us rotating each week to start this thread and carry on in Susan's footsteps: lisalara, nancy littrell, fionna51, susanbri, momof5sons, Trish G
Karen aka k dunbrook, the notifying angel, will continue to let those know they have been favorited here. Thank you Karen.

I am so grateful that Lisa, Susan, Nancy, Diane, Marie, and Trish are continuing this thread. It was a hard decision to make to step down, but I know these ladies will do an awesome job keeping the CAS fires burning every Sunday at SCS!
Many thanks to Karen also for her dedication in notifying people whose cards are listed.
I am so grateful for this thread and want to thank Susan for her time and effort in starting this thread and keeping it going for the last 3 years.
I am also so grateful for the ladies who love cas as much as I do and want to keep this thread going!!!
Being so busy every week, I love coming here to see what I have missed.
Happy Sunday everyone! I am delighted that a whole team has volunteered to keep this wonderful thread alive...see Susan, it takes 6 women to accomplish what you have been doing for the past three years! The wonderful ladies that stepped up to the CAS plate are amazing crafters, so I look forward to seeing this style grow even more in popularity Hugz to each of you and to the wonderful Karen Dunbrook for her tireless efforts. My gazing time was limited by a lack of electricity and of internet for much of the week but I did find a few gems:
Broom had me thinking 'lovely" with her A Thought Away card
sf9erfan's Simple Christmas used a wonderful layout
limedoodle's Merry card is a dimensional delight!
I wasn't going to buy the stocking punch, but this card using it really wowed me jcynthe's Baby Card
ejkeaton's With Sympathy is unique and elegant.
jimlynn used a sweet image and wonderful coloring for a great twist on the wreath card with her Sleeping Mouse
liaadd's Christmas Blessings is simply wonderful
dostamping made a stunning CAS Thanksgiving card
darsie1's Winter Greetings used a unique snowflake color beautifully
CAKath's Leafy Thanks marries color, texture and design perfectly
superjen combined CAS and collage in her Pink Collage card
T Joy posted a stunning Sympathy card
PrincessforJ's Holly in Silver is elegant and amazing
Biggan can take Newspaper to a high level art form
nwilliams' Pine Cone Adventure is a study in can-do tenacity
and Fionna51's Through the Window is Kittie-inspired wonderful!
Again, thanks to our wonderful CAS team, present and emeritus. Thanks to all who post their work for the inspiration - you bless me more than you can know. Have a peaceful week.

I so appreciate Susan for really bringing focus to Clean and Simple. She helped me to feel like I didn't need to try to be what I wasn't. I do hope that you, Susan, still share your faves whenever you can! I found some that I missed nearly every time!
Lisa caught a lot of what I faved this week, but here's some more to enjoy:
I miss my mind! Here are a few others that I loved!
steubner's Merry & Bright
WordTrix pair of cards in Joy-Noel
Understanblue did a lovely Misted Marker card
and Tami Mayberry's Friendship card.
Sorry for the delay in the luvin' ... just remember to pray for my poor family.
Hugz!

Some of my favorites. Sorry, I haven't checked the above list yet, but I have limited time and want to get mine posted some time today (I'm gone the rest of the day).
Wow thanks Marie for mentioning my 'merry' set and thanks also to Diane for liking my poinsettia card. As always Karen does a fab job letting us all know. Thanks Karen.

Thanks Marie, you've brought sunshine to my day by mentioning my HYCCT1126 Send a Little Sunshine card! Guess that means it's already doing its job.
A huge thank you to Susan for your dedication to this thread the past three years, and to Karen for your perseverance in notifying those who have been favored each week. Kudos to the lovely ladies who have stepped up to the plate, too.

A great big thanks to Susan for initiating and sustaining this wonderful tribute to CAS cards for THREE years! It's provided encouragement and inspiration to so many of us. We all appreciate those who have now stepped up to continue what Susan began, including Karen who graciously notifies those whose cards have been chosen for the week.
Thank you Lisa for mentioning my Christmas in Red Espresso and to Marie for mentioning my Leafy Thanks. I am so happy to be back stamping again. Hugs to all my stamping friends.
Thanks so much Lisa for mentioning my CAS142 Color Challenge Christmas card. I liked it so well that I made a total of "5".
But even BIGGER thanks to Susan for starting this wonderful thread :-) It is because of you Susan and Jen (CAS challenges) that got me really enjoying and realizing that CAS is truly a style in a class of its own. The best part.....even if you are very limited in time you can at least create a CAS style card. The hard part....not over doing it!
My DH and I are off to do our sunday a.m. walk in our woods, but I will be back to link my fav's. I will try hard to not duplicate. Thanks again Susan and to the entire new team. Looks like it is going to take 6 of us to replace you Susan :-)

Thanks Late Blossom for all those Sunday mornings starting this wonderful thread. You are one generous person for all your time given to us. Sure glad there will be a new group to keep this going.
Thanks TrishG for the mention of my card. I'm truly humbled. Karen thanks again for letting me know, and all your generous giving of your time too. Stampin hugs, Linda

Sorry for being so late to mention my CAS favorites this week... I had to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and string up some Christmas lights. So much easier than doing it in a foot of snow, as happens more often than not. ;-)
Susan, thanks for all you do here for us CAS stampers. You are an inspiration!!
Lisa, I'm thrilled you and the other girls are keeping this thread going
Thanks Nancy for mentioning my Engagement set!!! You brought a huge smile to my face.
Karen, I love seeing your name pop up in my mailbox on Sunday, I know you are going to add a bit of sunshine to my day.
Thank you so much for mentioning my card. I will be posting my favorites too very shortly. Hugs-Audrie

I am heart broken to lose LateBlossom as I just adore her style, her designs, and her the whole person. I hope she can come back one day. Thanks to all of you that agreed to take over for her. I will be supporting you as much as I can!
