Default off the deep end

Now I know I have a problem! I recently bought a pair of zebra finches, and one of them is very naughty and constantly pulls apart the paper towel lining in his cage, even though there is a grate over it. I grew tired of having to fit another paper towel into the cage, (it's notched and hard to fit just right) so I got creative! I made a template of the tray, dove into my stash of dp and made them a designer bird cage liner! I taped the dp to a piece of chip board and covered it all with clear contact! It fits really well, and Teeney can't lift the edge! Now I just have to wipe it down and reuse it! It really dresses up the cage, and my little pals are intrigued by the design in their their new home! I think I'll make them some seasonal ones too! My family thinks I've lost it now. Yes, paper crafting is for the birds!!!!

Do you have a little he and a little she? They might have been trying to make nesting...

No. They're both male. I think he's bored. I ordered them a flight cage, so when they have more room maybe he won't get into trouble.
