The other day a package arrived in the mail with some lovely white tissue paper in it. It was wrapped around some scrapbooking supplies and my mind started to whirl. I just knew it could be reused for something crafty instead of throwing it away.
I'm hoping you'll join me today for the latest challenge, Ways to Use Tissue Paper. It's perfect for a lot of fabulous stamping techniques and can be used to create embellishments as well. Create some fluffy clouds, stamp a faux silk panel, stamp some tissue and place in a decorated gift bag or whatever else you can think of. I can't wait to see the creative spins on this challenge!
Please remember to put WT291 in your keywords section and post a link here. We all want to see your work. Get busy and get creating and please link only newly uploaded projects for this challenge. We want you to have some fun creating today.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Julia! I discovered faux silk for the first time last spring and loved the look, but I rarely remember to use it. Thanks for the nudge!! Here's my card:

I wasn't going to play until later today, but you pulled me in, Julia, as I've been wanting to try the tissue paper flowers. I'll be back later this afternoon or evening after errands and chores to view and comment on the gallery. Here's mine: Soft Blue Flower WT291 by mlj-mlj - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

What to do? What to do? I was trying to think of something fun to do with tissue paper when this brilliant idea came to me to stamp my image on tissue paper and use it on this treat container.
I've never used tissue paper before so this is new to me. I decided to use the Faux Silk technique because I already had all the materials. I made two cards.
I made this earlier in the evening and then ran to the High School to see/photograph DD in the band at half-time of the football game . . . my son and I left early and listened to the last minute in the driveway, a real nail-biting finish, two-point victory for the home team!
Weird how the gold gel pen I used around the pumpkins turned silver in the photo!
