I'm a new member. I started reading some of the posts and ended up ordering a Cuttlebug. That has given me a whole new enthusiasm for stamping! I love all the samples and helpful info. I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from 2000-2006 and miss the connection with other stampers. Thanks for getting me revved up again. As a matter of fact, I am so revved up, I'm working on getting cardmaking a part of our Child Life program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. It's called the Cards for KIds project. More about that later. I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how excited I am to be a part of this great group! Blessings, Julie
Cincinnati??? You have Graeter's ice cream!!! (They're selling it commercially, I found it locally here in Wichita! Yay! I thought I'd NEVER get to eat Graeter's again.)
Welcome, and isn't it nice to be able to access all the inspiration and information here?
Now, go eat some caramel Graeter's for me, my local store doesn't have any of that flavor.
Welcome!!!! I miss the Nati. I volunteered at RMD house and I was on the Kindervelt board. You might want to reach out to them when starting your program.
Hi there! I'm also from the greater Cinti area. Do you work at Children's? My sister-in-law is a nurse there, I think in the post-op area. She's been there almost 20 years. I know it's a big place - doubt you know her - but still a small world.
I live in Fairfield but work at Main Campus. I'm a Health Unit Coordinator for 2 units-one is the Cystic Fibrosis kids, the other unit is Diabetes, research, Dialysis etc. Quite a variety of kids! I used to have stamp camps in Indianapolis where I am originally from. I really miss the ladies who came each month. I have not done so much stamping because work tends to be exhausting, BUT, I'm bringing the craft to the hospital so I can share my love of stamping and keep the creativity flowing!
Welcome from a SU demo in New Richmond down by the river. One of my technique club members used to work at Children's in the Child Life program. Post a thread when you get this up and going we might be interested in helping you out!

I'd love to meet some local stampers! The post is under Need a Lift- Card Requests,(although it is a request for supplies) it's called Introducing Cards for Kids. Our hospital has an awesome Child Life program that runs on donations. There are more craft activities for younger kids. The activities for older kids include movies, video games, music therapy, beading, painting, etc, so I'd like to add to the variety of choices and get more older kids crafting! Right now there are no stamping or cardmaking crafts. Stamp pads aren't a good thing for kids to share in a hospital because you can't properly disinfect them, so I am prestamping images they can color and putting them in packs with embossed pieces and cut shapes, ribbons and whatever else we can do to make the cardmaking fun!
Hello and welcome!!! I live in Hillsboro. I don't own one rubber stamp but I sure am getting a collection of digital ones!! The cards for kids program sounds great, good luck with it
