Kathy is also going to try and have a sale like we were at today (stamping/scrapping yard sale) on 10/23 at MD City as well.
Doesn't look like I'm going to get a card made for this challenge, but I did make this flower. It's made using cupcake liners...all I had were the large pastel colored ones, but I think the smaller sized ones would work better...think I need to play with this technique a little more...what do you think? Worth wasting my time?

OK....a few cards we have been working on today. It took me all day to get this one right (and cut x20.) So disregard that other one and make this my flower card instead.
The second is a card Mack made for me. I think she did a pretty good job on most of it, getting the hat on the monkey and such. Not bad for 4 yo.
And the last is a flower Reg made for me. I gave her the scallop and the small flower she did the rest on her own. I am so impressed that she added leaves and a stem. She is my budding artist

They each had one before they started creating I even tried to get some video of Kerri saying Brownie Bite, but once she had it in her hand she wasn't about to say it again. It's amazing how clearly she says words like "cookie" "brownie bite" "Yumm" "More" "Cheese" "Broccoli" and "Pah-LEEZE" when it comes to food.

When our creative juices are lacking, we'll need to eat a brownie bite to get them flowing again. LOL I think food brings out the best in all of us.
Is the challenge deadline today? Just got back from a long weekend in Ocean City. Trying to catch up with the posts. All of the cards are gorgeous.

I sleep good when we have nasty weather. Comes from growing up in IL. They have thunder storms and tornado warnings every night Spring-Fall there. So last night I felt very at home!

Good morning. Survived the storms. Sadie didn't seem to mind them. We didn't lose electricity so that was good. Mom came back from OC to spend a few weeks with us so we'll catch up & settle in today.

Morning everyone. Im getting used to this laptop keyboard. Some weird stuff happening as I just realized I am resting my hands on the little mouse touchpad. I deleted a long email I was typing to an old friend! Duh....
All these cards are amazing. I dont know which ONE to vote for. And I love that little flower, Mary. I might try that one. I havent been doing any stamping. Come to think of it, havent been doing much of anything. Have a great week everyone.
I didn't realize until last night that it was the first big storm I had been through without The Hubs or Maggie in bed with me :( Reganne was asleep in my bed and I was very tempted to leave her there, but knew that I would sleep better alone (she kicks.) I have to do some more picking up and cleaning today since The Hubs is coming home tonight. I really don't understand why he thinks the house should be clean when he comes home.....I would think it was more of a compliment if it were a mess, that would mean I couldn't live without him....don't ya think? When I am gone I actually get agitated when the house is too clean when I get home....to me, it means he didn't spend time with the kids.
I was taking with Kimmie before the swap and she had a great idea I wanted to run it past you guys and see what you all think.
How about after this Challenge winner we switch things up a bit. How about rather than the winner coming up with the next challenge we have a list and that way everyone gets a turn hosting and coming up with something fun. Not sure what the winner will get maybe the avatar photo on the MD stampers or something. What do you all think? I think Kimmie had a great idea and I'm in!

How about after this Challenge winner we switch things up a bit. How about rather than the winner coming up with the next challenge we have a list and that way everyone gets a turn hosting and coming up with something fun. Not sure what the winner will get maybe the avatar photo on the MD stampers or something. What do you all think? I think Kimmie had a great idea and I'm in!
