Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
We will be meeting at the Deer Flat LDS church in Kuna on Friday, Nov 6th from 5:30 pm through 10:00 pm. (Please note that this is our meeting place, SWISS is not limited to those of the LDS faith).
The cost will be $5, which will reserve your spot and cover some munchies and various meeting supplies and costs. Please send your payments by Oct 28th to my Paypal address <[email protected]> or pm me for my address to mail a check. Of course, cash is always accepted too! Your payment will reserve your place.
We have a limit of 22 people, so that will be first-paid, first admitted.
And now, to the swap!
Please plan your swap to take no longer than 10 minutes, so that everyone gets a chance to finish up. You'll need to bring:
Your shoebox swap including all supplies needed to complete it. Please prepare a supply packet (can be a sandwich bag or something similar) for each person. There a FEW outlets available for embossing.
You will need to bring:
a completed version of your swap for a sample
Your own scissors
your own adhesive
A stamping related doorprize ($5 in value--can be handmade or purchased) for the drawing. Everyone will go home with a prize!
Protective mat for the table surface (like an acrylic stamping mat, or grid paper).
a stamp cleaner (suggestion)
A sack dinner (there is a microwave available)
Your own drink/s with a lid.
Directions to church:
South on Meridian Road. Make a right at the light at Deer Flat Road. The church is right next door to the high school. Park in the first driveway. If you get to the Linder Rd. stop light you've gone too far.
If you have any questions, please post them here!

Also, I might have a couple of ladies from work who may want to come. I'll check with them on Monday (they've left for the weekend already) and see if they are available that night.
I found You. Wahoo! Another SWISS 9. WE are going to have a good time. I'm cooking up something really good. Thank You to Sue and Friends for setting up our 9th SWISS. I have never missed a one. And they just keep getting more and more fun. So Stamp Fast.
And a special Thanks to Rachel, Amy, and Sue for starting our SWISS and keeping it going.

Did you get my $5? I mailed it yesterday - Oct. 22. I know but I was busy. I went to Seattle for a Clown Convention for 4 days. Had a grand time. Now it's time to stamp. I'm working on some projects for a craft show for our Syringa Sound. A Woman's Barbershop Chorus. But I will have a great card for our SWISS Swap. So Stamp FAst and Wild.
Well I managed to get my project planned, and all "kits" prepared this past weekend.. Good thing too, I just became a Grandma, I have a lil Grandson!! Think the next couple of weeks are going to be BUSY!!! I'm sure I'll be ready for a break on the 6th.

Congratulations Grandma Jackie S. on your new Grandson. Grandchildren are so much fun. When we get together I always play with the grandchildren. I'm glad you have your kits done. I don't. I just made 50 Red Hat Cards. I have a Red Hat Stampin Blitz on Monday and I will probably use the cards I make for that for our Shoebox Swap. We will have a great time no matter what.
Have fun Grandma and kiss the baby for me. Edith - GlitterElla
