i have no idea what the real name of the technique is - i just made it up as the best description for the card. my extremely talented upline did a card like this for a swap last year, and i made my own, enlarging it so that it fits in a standard envelope. i think her smaller size is pretty, but i'm too lazy to make envelopes.
i hope the instructions are clear, but if not, pm me with your problem and i'll try to explain better.
*edited to re-upload attachment. please note that you need to save it to your computer in order to open it. someone on another thread gave this advice:
Right click on the file name until the popup window comes up. Choose "Save target as..." --navigate to where you want to save it, then click OK (or Save, I forget which). Then you can open and print the file from wherever you saved it.

Okay, Thanks for the directions, but I can't open you link from here? I have been having this problem alot lately and getting ready to email the moderator about this...any chance you can email me your link: [email protected] so I can see the finished card- sounds like one I want to try!

I would also love to have these directions! I couldn't bring it up either. I hope the directions can get put up, so I can see them. Thank you and GREAT CARD!

There is a box at the bottom of the first post that has the word document as an attachment. You should be able to double-click on it and it'll open. If that doesn't work, try right-clicking on the attachment, and saving it on your desktop. Then, open it from your desktop.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cards! I'm always looking for something unique since all my neices are in our stamp club and my DD is our demo. LOL
That's what I love about SCS....everyone is so willing to share there ideas and templates for all of us to enjoy and use. Thanks again for the wonderful directions!!
Thanks for the link, longtimestamper! I haven't been able to open any links on most of that forums lately. Don't know why but it sure is frustrating. So nice not to get a blank page for a change. For those of you that are getting the same blank results, try this one. It worked for me, and the web site is pretty cool too!
I love these and have been wondering exactly how it is done. I'm sorry, but I can't open the document. Can you please e-mail it to me? I would really appreciate it!

Hello. I'm pretty new here and love to have interactive cards. I can't open either of the links. If you still have the instructions saved (either as .doc or .pdf) would you be able to email them to me? Thanks bunches.
