My mom makes the BEST potato dish and where did she get the recipe? Paula Deen!!!!
We get a cooking magazine every month. On the front: Paula Deen.
If you look up southern cooking in the dictionary there is a picture of: Paula Deen.
Now Paula Deen is famous for 2 things: Fried Chicken and BUTTER!
Knowing that how does this become your next challenge??
SIMPLE-
1-Use Brown and Yellow as your main colors.
2-Must have a crumpled element to represent the frying!
To help you with the crumpling idea there is a cool flower tutorial on Kristina Werner�s site listed here:

It�s about 6 min into it but basically you cut out circles and shape them to look like flowers then crumple those puppies up add button or brad and voila flower, like in my sample.
YOU DON�T HAVE TO MAKE A FLOWER BUT YA GOTTA HAVE SOMETHING CRUMPLED OR IT IS RAW AND YOU CAN�T SERVE IT!!

I love Paula Deen! Wish I could play along - but with all my stuff packed up and the fact that I have to leave shortly to take DD to a birthday party, well, I'll have to try it out later. Have fun!
