What type of shipping times is everyone receiving? I've read about people receiving things in a couple days and I'm so disappointed because today was day 10 and still no sign of my order. I closed a show and gave it to my demo on Monday the 21st and she put it in that night. I'm on the East Coast so I know to allow extra for delivery so I was waiting for the UPS man on this Tuesday (3/29) .. .then Wednesday... again Thursday and today when "Brown" came up the street I ran out on the porch but he drove by never stopping.
My demo is out of town until next week so I can't get in touch with her. I seem to be jinxed with SU delivery. My October show contained spots that took 7 weeks to get here, my January show took 2 weeks then had missing items, and some items I ordered from two different friends parties were missing when they got their orders! I feel like my name is on some sign at SU saying "let's mess with her shipping again!"

I am in Reston VA, just outside DC. I put an order in on the 29th and it shipped to be to Richmond on the 7th. So, about ten days is the usual. Could she have had it shipped to her house instead of yours? I'll bet it will be there on Monday.
It's shipping to me. My demo saw some of my customers on Tuesday before she left and told them I should have the order Tuesday or Wednesday and would be calling them. One of the customers called today and asked if she could pick up her order. I felt so bad that she thought I was holding her order and not delivering it. I assured her it had not been delivered and that I would bring it to her as soon as it came in.
I closed on a book party on March 22 and my demo checked it for me and the brown truck will be coming to my house on Monday (Apr. 4) with my party order. I was so hoping it would come before the weekend so I could stamp with my new stuff over the weekend (expecting a lot of rain), but alas, I will have to wait....
So long story short, it is happening here too.
I think the shipping times are a day or two longer after Good Friday and Easter... Stampin' Up! distribution employees had those holidays off. My own order took about three or four days longer than usual (though I'm in CA, so I'm lucky with quick shipping in the first place) I bet your order will be there on Monday. I'm sorry it's taking so long - it's so hard to wait!!
I am in Canada and the shipping times are faster than usual, I think I placed my order on Friday and I received it today, Friday. It usually takes 10 days. I was surprised.
Maybe call your demo, and if she's not home try calling SU.

Mine has been fast. I turned in a 1600 + show Friday afternoon, it picked on Saturday and I got it on Wednesday. Sometimes if I turn one in on Monday I will have it by the weekend. I do think that they play a bit of catchup when there are holidays.
The UPS truck just drove by.....he did not stop, nor even slow down
(':?')
But on Monday, I will get STAMPS, and cardstock and classic ink pads, and STAMPS!!!!!!!!!! :?
I have to say, that as much as I hate living in this hot and humid island (we move to Hawaii last year), at least I get my shipments in about 3 days now since they have to send it airmail. I guess there is a silver lining to every cloud!
Now if I could only figure out how to get them to ship to New Zealand by next year when I move again I would be really happy ...

Don't worry, hon -- the folks getting their packages in only a few days live MUCH closer to Utah than we east coasters do. When we have stamping parties at the office, it's usually on a Wednesday night and the order arrives on Friday of the following week without fail.

I'm sure that the combination of a holiday and the end of the month when a great special was offered will slow things down a couple of days. But shipping should start getting fast again after that. My orders (PA) usually take a little over a week when it is not a holiday or end of the month.

I am in Illinois & usually my orders are delivered about 10 days after they go in. Could be quicker, but the last order sat at a UPS hub from the wee hours of a Friday morning until late Monday morning--only 300 mi. away--and I still didn't get it until Wednesday. Oh, but alas, Mr. Brown has to have a day off once in awhile. We stampers really work him hard!!
My wonderful demo always e-mails me with the shipping tracking number that ups gives her, so I just click on the link and get right to the ups web page detailing my order, and I can see exactly where my order is. I love that!!! Maybe you could ask your demo to do that for you and then she wouldn't be responsible for having to update you...
Just a word on the UPS tracking info from your demo. I am a demo and I know that on more than one occasion, the info that UPS posts is not current and gets updated infrequently at times and it is also unavailable for stretches at a time(I think this happens when they are uploading new info). I've had orders on my doorstep that don't show as received for a day or two after. I try to remind myself that a 'watched kettle never boils', so to speak.
I am in Canada, so it does take longer for our orders to arrive, so for those of you who recieve their orders within a week, you are very lucky.
I think it is to be expected that orders placed at the end of the month may be a bit slower to arrive because of the sheer volume of items to be processed. Toss in a holiday to boot and things get slower yet, but I'm sure deliveries will be back on track soon.
There were some bumpy spots when SU was moving to the new facility, but I'm sure all that is behind us now.
Enjoy your new 'toys' when they arrive and be sure to share your creations with us in the gallery!

It's taking about 7 days. MUCH improved!!!!!!
Even the backorders are getting shipped quicker. I am a much happier demo than I was a few months ago! lol

Here in Oregon we average 17 days from placing order to getting product. Fastest has been 12 days and longest was 29. I figured that at $3.95 shipping for one set it would go priority. Guess not!

Is that Oregon state, USA??? My sister lives there and when she orders she gets her orders in about 7 days usually, sometimes 5 if Stampin Up isn't backed up after a holiday like Good Friday and Easter.
Yeah, Oregon should be quicker than that, maybe your demo is waiting for the three day clearance before putting in the order, or you live way out in the boonies?
I put an order in Wed. night and with all the end of month stuff, was prepared for a little wait. It picked AND shipped on Friday and I should have it here in the Bay Area on Tuesday.
Geez. That's only FOUR full business days - wow. I put it in WED. night and will have it Tuesday (probably around 6). Wow. I just impressed myself.
It is nice to live only 2-3 days away via ground UPS.
I'm still waiting on the new TJ newsletter tho, coming from Conn. and hasn't got to me yet. :( (But I looked online, heh heh)

No, I live in a major city. She places the order in front of me usually. I usually go to her house to do my orders. She does not wait for my check to clear because we are friends.
Has she sent you tracking info? I'm curious where the delay is. I know it's all UPS ground.
I've had my orders this year picking within a day - unless it's end of quarter, this time it took - well, less than 48 hours. Once it picks, it ships and it's all up to UPS.
I don't know. Seems pretty straightforward to me. I'm always curious to read about other people's misadventures though!
Good luck!!!

Even shipping to Canada, it doesn't take 7 days for them to get the picked and shipped. Usually it's within 24 hours.
Is it possible she's not submitting the order for a few days in order to collect a few more orders from other customers?

My last order (last week) took 10 days. Actually, so far none of my recent orders have come any sooner than 7 days; which is what it's been for the past 9-10 years anyway.

My orders from Oregon State are usually picked, closed, and shipped within 2 days! It always arrives within a week of the order date which is much faster than when I lived in Wisconsin. My customers are always pleasantly suprised that the orders come so fast. I let me customers know when to expect Brown, and update them with any changes. I also let them know about any backorder items, so they don't think something was "forgotten" from the order and to expect it later. It's all about Customer Service!
I feel so lucky here in California!!! I usually get my order 3 days after I put it in!!!! At the very most 4 days and that is when it takes 2 days to pick!!! I don't know what I would do if I had to wait 10 days!!!
That's really strange. I live in the Portland, Oregon area, too, and it NEVER takes longer than a week for my orders to arrive, and sometimes, even quicker! My last order shipped the same day I placed the order online, and arrived in just 2 days to my doorstep!
If you live in Oregon, and are waiting such a long time, your demo must not be submitting your order for a few days. She can enter the order in the OEX system, and then save it indefinitely before she actually submits it.

My orders to Portland Oregon take about 2 days from when placed through picking and then about 3-4 days to get there. Never over a week. And there have been many orders.

I'm in Maryland. I've never waited more than 10 days from the day I placed my order be it party or individual orders, shipped here or to someone else's home. I generally receive it 7 days to the day after I email my order to my demo, who is wonderful by the way. Sorry you're having problems. I am always super eager for my order to arrive and was actually chomping at the bit with my last order. That was one that took 10 days, presumably with it being the end of the month and end of the 1/2 price promotion. Hope things improve for you.

Just UPS alone takes 5 business days until my SU orders are delivered. If she put it in on 3/21 at night, it may not have shipped until the 24th or 25th.....which means you should have had it by Thurs 3/31 or Fru 4/1. Keep in mind it was toward the end of a month that had a HUGE promotion...so orders are no doubt higher than normal....which has to cause some sort of delay.
I never promise a date - I just let then know as soon as I receive the order, I will let them know. I was hoping that the order I placed last Thursday would be here by next Friday....but it's not looking that way.
I do wish that SU would take off any reference to the amount of time it takes for an order to arrive in any of the catalogs.
My demo put in our order on the 23rd, and we're still waiting. I think the combo of the big sale, holiday, and end of the month, has slowed things up. We have also had things delivered in 3 days! I think it's the inconsistency that gets to everyone. Usually we get our order in about 10 days here in PA.
IT IS HARD TO WAIT!!!!!

I wouldn't really care if it took 30 days-- I like SU products so much that they would be worth the wait!!! I can always find something to work on until the new arrives. LOL
