I could not believe the change in Shia Leboeuf, though. What a difference from how he looked in "Holes" (love that movie!)

"holes"??? Just finished Martian Child--loved it--and then started playing w/3 new ink pads and an edge distresser. Like what I'm doing so far, except I think I need to trim the band--too wide...oh wait a minute--there are words stamped on the rust band--just can't see 'em.

Yes, I can do that.--You may not remember, but in a CMH swap you send me some images of elephants, so when I saw the deer-I thought of you--and the deer in my backyard.

Question for those sponging experts. What type of sponge do you use?
A. cosmetic wedes
B. sea sponge (the one w/all the holes)
C. daubers (tried these and put 'em in The Box)
D. something else
E. none of the above

Okay, so how is heat and stick powder used? I've got some Martha Stewart glitter and a GinaK leaf stamp set I want to use. I've also got a glue pad. How do I use all of this stuff?

I get creative, can I just send you the recipes I used in the container swap? Grilled chicken w/a rub, macaroni salad, and steamed whole vidalla onions? I'll still be in Romans in March.

Of course I remember! Those elephants are really great for the wax crayon resist technique (I think that is what it is called)

Depends on what kind of look you want. Dabbing is fainter and "spotty", brushing is more similar to dtp (direct to paper) technique.

Great desciption. I just dabbed and if I dab the first dab on scratch paper, I get the fainter look--which is what I want, I think!

I use as if they are pizza pieces, but don't actually cut them all. But yeah, I guess if I was to cut them, I would have two more sides per pizza... hmmm...

Yuppers..you got it down now..stamp your leaf image in the glue pad...the first time stamp you image in the color ink u want..then stamp it in the glue pad..after you clean it off..then stamp right on top of it..sprinkle with glitter...use embossing buddy if you want the glitter to only stick to the image..otherwise it kind of goes where it wants. You can alsostamp the image in heat and stick pwdr...sprinkle on your embellie of choice and heat it up..it will then look pretyy. Irredecent Ice rocks for this look

My favorite sponge is one of the large car sponges from the dollar store. I cut it into little pieces, use them, and then throw them away. Learned that trick from my stampin up demo!

I can vouch for those recipes, as I received them in the container swap! We make the chicken w/a all the time, and the macaroni salad was one of our favorite summer recipes. Haven't tried the vidalia onions yet--but it sounds great! I'll be at your recipe swap, tracey. I just ahve to get home and look through my recipes.

Oh boy..did I do some damage..major at AG....how about your girlfriend?
Did not buy anything.... yet. We are going to go to the one in Boston in two weeks. Would have gone today but A said she wanted to go to Thanksgiving with my parents in stead. Then got up early this AM and said she wanted AG after all. I told her we could go in 2 weeks, cuz I stayed up too late last night thinking we were staying home! (Playing Frogger on my gameboy, I admit it!)

SO, whaddya get??? I am definitely buying the snowboarding set, but other than that, I don't know.
