Halloween color combos?

I never thought that I was color challenged, but I'm finding out different, lol!

I'm making Halloween cards and have used the traditional black/orange combo some, but I'm looking for something different. I tried purple and green, with black accents, but I'm not sure I'm liking that. The stamp I'm using is Black Hat Trio, with the 3 witches hats, I love it!

What colors do you use on Halloween cards? I'll be checking the gallery too for ideas.

Search in the gallery under Halloween ~ I like orange, purple, black and green! I have several in my gallery ~ mostly traditional colors I guess!

What about orange, yellow and white like candy corn? Since witches hats are pointed like candy corn, you might be able to incorporate both and make it really cute.

I really like the purple and black. I even did a couple of my minty spiders with that combo and even Red/black ones too. I also like Green/Black and yellow/black as Halloween combos.

I don't have a card to share now but I did one that used gable green, pumpkin pie and taken with teal. It was refreshingly different. It matched one of the older SU designer paper.

I made a Halloween card with black, green galore, pumpkin pie and regal rose.. it was really cute!

Purple/orange(pumpkin)/green (wasabi)/black/artichoke........ For some reason they just seem to say Halloween to me. Not necesarrily all together, but some form of that. I love purple, so I try to use as much as I can!!

I agree with orange, purple, black & green! We grabbed a package of m&m's this weekend and those were the colors in the bag - and I immediately thought of card colors!
