I like brads better than eyelets, due to the ease.

I like eyelets because when I'm finished, it looks like I did something really tricky or difficult, and it was really very easy. For someone like me, who is very craft disabled, that's important!!!!

I like brads better too.
Eyelets are good if you want to put ribbon or hemp etc, through them. Otherwise I usually have to color the cardstock with a marker before gluing the card front on, or you have a white hole showing.
You can still do alot with brads, string thread, wire, and fibers around them.
I used to use each about equally, but now that you can buy "brad wear", little stickers (shiny ones, alpha ones, picture ones), I brad way more than eyelet!!!
I use both depending on what I am doing. It's hard to put fibres through the center of a brad & it's hard to wrap them around an eyelet (for closing certain types of cards, etc). At the moment I am known as the Eyelet Queen by my friends! I have at least 30 different colours/styles if not more and am constantly picking up others. Plan to start getting the SU ones here soon! Just have "needed" other stuff more!

I would have said brads....but now that I have the Provo Craft Silent Setter....I have to say BOTH!!

that might just make all the difference, there is nothing like pounding that hammer when the kids are asleep in the next room, or like when you are stamping at midnight with glazed over eyes, but you just can't stop cause you need to make just one more card for the challenge for the week

I like brads better, just 'cuz they're quieter and easier.
My scrapbook store sells eyelet brads...I can't remember who they're by...but best of both worlds I think!
I like eyelets. There easy to set if you use the 1/16" circle punch from Stampin up. Put the eyelet where you want it in your card, put the hand held punch with the post through the back of the eyelet and squeeze. I found you can only do this with Stampin Up eyelets. There soft enough.
