Default Next set of Copics?

I have the small set of 36 Copics known as "set A."

I have no way to see these in person, other than a photo online, so who can tell me which set would blend best with set A. Do you progress logically on to set B, or is set C or set D the next logical step? Someone said that for blending colors they like to use two shades apart, such as BV08 and BV10 . . . so if you own set A, which set to buy next? Thanks!

I don't really know the answer to your question, but when I purchased the sets I did it in order. I just have A, B, and C and have not really had trouble finding colors compatible for blending.

Not sure if the boxes are considered to progress from A through D, but I have compared the boxes and it seems to me that box D seems to have darker tones of the colors. When someone tells me that they are more into "jewel" tones or bolder colors I recommend D.

I purchased all of the Amuse recommended colors on Linda's Amuse blog and I have been very happy with those.

My recommendation is to go to Copicmarker.com and request the color chart. They will send it to you for free. You can then see the sets on glossy pages!

I like to blend as was suggested: B00 to B02, etc. so I know what you are asking about the sets.

I am sitting here looking at the flyer and I think the set C would go better with A. It seems to have more pastels in it. But hat is JMHO. I would still request a chart and go from there!

I did not know they would send you a chart. I've spent at least 20 minutes this morning squinting at my computer screen trying to figure out the colors in the sets . . . I think a chart might work better!
