I just purchased a cuttlebug for $35.00 no extras just the plates.

Does that include everything you need to make it work? You just have to buy the embossing plates, etc.? Also, do you mind if I ask how much shipping was?

The plates that you make your sandwich with are all that's included. My shipping to Northwest Florida was $12.32

I'm not sure what to start with. I'm still trying to decide what to buy first I'll probably buy some embossing folders and maybe an alphabet.

My first CB purchases (other than the machine itself ;) ) was the Divine Swirls embossing folder, the ribbon slides dies, and the Textile embossing folder. They all get quite a bit of use!

Just got all the 9 new A2 folders yesterday and played with them last night..they are so beautiful. Also got each of the new cutting and embossing die sets. Have not opened them yet. I so love the Cuttlebug. It has got to be my favorite tool.
