I know people have stamped on clothing with Palette inks and it's permanent (I found this out on Nichole's blog here ---> http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...2007/11/2.html)

I have no idea about Stazon tho....

It's certainly going to stain, to be sure... but I wouldn't use it as a method to stamp on clothes on purpose, because it will tend to bleed into the fibers of the fabric and create a very messy image.

Check with TS...as I recall, Stazon is not recommended for fabric. There might be somehint on their site.

I use Clearsnap Ancient Page or Crafters, or a fabric paint.

Don't use Staz On on fabric. It will fade and bleed. You can use SU! craft ink and heat set or any of the other inks recommended.

It says it's not recommended for fabric on the back of the stamp pad, so I wouldn't use it.

It does fade. The brown stazon came out completely with one wash.

I'v used either Clearsnap Ancient Page or Crafters to stamp on fabric for years, and have never had a problem with it fading or washing out.

The fabric (shirt) does have to be laundered (no softener of any type in either the detergent, washer or dryer). Heat set the ink after it has dried and don't launder the fabric for one week after stamping.

Definitely no StazOn. You need a pigment ink and it needs to be heat set. Be sure to post what you make!!
