"Thank you for contacting Duncan Customer Service. PSX will be retired at
this time. Unfortunately Duncan has realized that papercrafting is not a
category in our future. We are at our best with glues, fabric paints, and
ceramic products. We have made the decision to focus our energy on those
products and on new innovations in the product families we know best."
OMG! PSX has been around FOREVER, creating some of the most beautiful rubber stamps I have in my collection . . . some of the most beautiful I've ever seen!
This is such sad news. I always thought they made GREAT images and had a flair for the elegant, whimsical, classic, and sweetly cute.
This just saddens me so much . . . Their designers made some of the most GORGEOUS samples I've ever come across--I always bought their catalog every year for inspiration. . . :(

They were independently owned until Duncan bought them out, which I was bummed by . . . I think they were a better company on their own?
If you ever loved their stuff/ideas, I highly recommend visiting the Duncan website and taking a look at their samples and seeing if you can save any to disc for future reference. I quit buying the catalog when they merged with Duncan, as I am not into stickers that much . . .

I agree with Julie - this is tragic! PSX stamps are detailed and elegant. They are the ones I'm always drawn to first in a stamp store.

Why did she make things? Well, she enjoyed it, of course; it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.
Before I discovered Stampin Up! my favorites were PSX and Hero Arts. I always thought that PSX was overpriced though...so I guess it really doesn't surprise me. But that is sad, they are such a stamping icon. Has there been any talk of someone buying Duncan out on this? Do you remember it looked like House Mouse was going to go under with Stampa Rosa and Stampabilities picked them up.
No, say it isn't so! Didn't PSX take over the HouseMouse line of stamps when it couldn't survive on it's own?
Maybe this will be better for PSX in the long run...chances are excellent that another stamp company will see the opportunity and step in and pick up the line. Obviously, a lot of us love their stamps and buy them, which tells me they are ripe for being bought up by someone.
Let's be positive about this ladies;no "chicken little" behavior allowed on days that are also not full moon ( full moon was on Tues, so you missed your opportunity )

I LOVE LOVE LOVE PSX and have my 1st sets from them!! boo hiss...
Wow - such sad news. PSX Designs are awesome. I liked more of the older designs from the late 1990's especially. Hopefully, they will be spun off so the designs and talent live on!
