That is pretty amazing! Twins for a reason Tara..Its funny how you said that, because I received Connie's card today and she used the Delightful in Life set on my card like I used on her card..They are other things that we find that is interesting between us among the twin thingy.
Which card did you receive of mine? I'm not upstairs right now to look and plus I have a headache to even think of which one I sent you.

Lana- My dads knee surgery was last July (2006), by christmas he was walking pretty good, now that it's been over a year, he is walking just fine. Acts like nothing was wrong. I was amazed, not sure was his pain medicine was, but i do know it was not what you are taking, I will ask him and get back to you, buti do know that what ever it was it worked really good, cause my dad is a big baby when it comes to pain, just like me.
Lana I sure hope and pray for you a speedy recovery you will get back and be twice as fast now. I have a customer last year that had the double knee replacement and gosh he did great. He is out that way so it really might have been the same hospital but we are all pulling for you and pray all goes well.
I actually cleaned my stamping room and gosh I found stuff that I forgot I had bought, has anyone done that ? I sent out my SU demo packet today I overnighted it so woohoo I am almost there.
Did anyone see the info on the 2008 cruise for next year? There is a thread just for the cruise but I just thought that I would see if anyone here had read it.
Ya'll are a bunch of really nice caring girls and I am proud to be a part of the pen pal group

I received a beautiful card from Phyllis B. today.
Sent an updated spreadsheet. For some reason the font and the size came out much smaller. DH and I worked on it and I think it is more readable this time. For us older gals the small print is a killer.
The dog is doing a better today. We see the vet on Thursday for a follow to check his eye again.
Dolores
I'm so glad he's doing better. Keep us posted on his progress.
And Lana............only GOOD thoughts & blessings going out to you.
Yes, Deanna that has happened to most of us. I need to clean mine just so I CAN find stuff. LOL It's such a mess. Working on cards for this group, ones for the Indiana get together & started the new puppy's scrap book.
Dolores, I received a card from you yesterday (Love that turtle) and hope to get one out to you this week as well as to Bonnie.
Deanna from SC, I saw the ad for the Stampin Cruise and I do so want to go. My Cousins & Sisters and I take a cruise every other year, and the date is only a year and a half from our last cruise, but I am hoping to convince the group that they want to do this particular one. We went to the Caribbean in May, but it was to the East not the West so cross your fingers! They are coming to visit me this weekend so I gotta gear up to do some convincing!
Happy Stamping Everyone and here's to Happy Mail!

Happy Stamping and have a great night!

Lana~Between your teeth and knees, you will be the bionic woman by next year! Blessings for a speedy recovery from both. Incidentally, I am pretty sure Parkview is the hospital to be at in Pueblo. You know how critical nurses are! We analyze everything and I am sure I remember good things from the rumor mill.
Steff~Oh, I feel your pain! Although my pics are all uploaded on Snapfish, so I am not at risk of losing them. But, I did lose all my documents when our hard drive crashed on our NEW 1 MONTH OLD computer! That hard drive is currently being worked on by Geek Squad. Keep your fingers crossed they can get my stuff recovered! It is costing us an arm and a leg (and quite a few stamp sets **ahem**) but it will be worth it. Dell has been less than empathetic, hence, they got their computer DHL'd back to them yesterday!! DH had to run and buy me a laptop so we can make do until he can get a desktop he wants. So, I am partially up and running again! Hip, hip, hooray!!
Kind of funny...in a sick sort of way...our new, less than 2 week old digital camera broke the night of the AF Ball!! At least Best Buy knows a little about customer service and is exchanging it for me! Keep me away from the electronics!!! Oh, the run of luck!!
Anyway, I am off to get kids to bed! Hope to get to some cards this weekend. This computer reformatting is cutting into my stamping time!
WOW! I received a very nice Halloween card from Julie D. I loved how you did the spider web and the tear in the paper. I like everything about it. Thanks for making my day. Thanks Julie.

Oh my Siobhan
You had better stay away from electronics. Were you able to get any pics. of the dance? I hope so or someone who will share with you. That's awful.
Bad enough about the computer.

Atta girl, getting all the October birthday cards made. I finished mine today. Now on to Halloween and other types.
I'm on! It is 8:30 am here. Have a few minutes before I get to go to the dentist! What fun!
Yes, Carol, we did some pics before the camera broke! My DD picked out my dress; should have known she would pick the purple one over the blue! She is 5 after all! I have to figure out how to resize the pic so I can attach it. This computer has Corel and not Paint, so I am out of my element!
Ok, I found Paint and now I can function again! Here it is; obviously taken at the end of the evening...my hair is just hanging there...or maybe it just looks like that all the time!! ;)

You're right............at 5 it's purple or pink. LOL Although I have a friend that is 74 and her favorite color is purple.
OH WOW! You are such a lovely lovely couple. That is an awesome picture.
Hope the trip to the dentist went well.
And Brandie............you REALLY have something to look forward to. Congrats on DH coming home. Where is he deployed. My DH was in the Army, his brother in the Navy & his Dad was retired Air Force. Had most of them covered. LOL
My hubby is in the Army. He is in Iraq. We are impatiently waiting for him to come home!! We have 2 boys (1 and 6) and I just started working full time. And I also just became a SU demonstrator. I am doing anything to make the time pass! I know I don't have much longer. I am getting more excited everyday.
wow! wonderful posts!!!
took me a bit to catch up! LOL
I continue to be in AWE about all
the Tender, Loving, Care that is shared here...
Incredible!
Big welcome to my lil sis Stac! so happy you
joined us!!!
As I read the shares, my heart goes out
to each of you facing challenges. You are all in
my thoughts and prayers. I too live with chronic
pain (in my neck and back). I go to the Pain Center
at Mercy Hospital tomorrow for cortizone
injections. I am praying it will work, pain
is exhausting...not to mention it takes a
toll on my scrappin and stampin time. ugh!
Brandie- I am very excited for you... my
nephew is a Marine & him coming home
was such a blessing!
Thanx for the info carol and carrie on the
"glitter queen" thingy...LOL too funny!
It's since been changed.
I haven't received the Pen Pal list yet
and am anxiously awaiting it! (I only have
addresses for brandie and stac!)
I really appreciate everyones shares and
since I haven't been here long enough to
learn many names yet, I kinda have to respond to
the group as a whole rather than each
individual. Bear with me... I'll get better at this!
Wishing Love & Laughter to all!
sincerely, khara

Khara
Don't worry about it. Did you not get the list from Dolores? It's an excel attachment. Or, if you don't have that it can be mailed to you. Watch your mail for a card I sent a day or so ago. I have an e friend in Dallas who has a lot of back pain. I think hers is lower back. They had to implant a probe that deals with her pain.
Stacey.............watch your mail.
Lozza................watch your mail.
If the puppy takes a nap I'll get to stamp. She REALLY wants to play with this cursor on my screen. LOL
Im really getting my DIL (fettsy) into this eh!! could I end with my son on my case ....have created another monster lol.............
I will say one thing if you gotta have a daughter-in-law, Fettsy is the one to have, she is agreat gal........
Just wanted to let you know that keep an eye out for the mail.
Prayers to you,
Bonnie

Lezzel,
Isn't it great to have a DIL like her? I, too, have been soooooooooo lucky to have two wonderful son in laws. One likes for us to go on vacation with them & their friends. the other one can't afford to travel much. We all get along great.
They actually get along with my DH better than their own. Well, in a different way. They love watching sports together, playing cards, etc. Don't think their Dad's did a lot with them. My DH always did lots with the girls. Took them hunting, racing, sports, etc.
Enjoy her................she IS a blessing.
Well, puppy is sleeping so I get to check on here & I'm going to cut some black paper for the Indiana SCS Gathering.

Can anyone send me the last 20 names on the list in a pm here? I can't get anything via email cause there is something wrong with the pc and emails. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks
(Did I read we're up to 100?...If so I only have up to 80)
Last week I got mail from Deb, Laura, Connie, Carol and Dolores. Your work is really inspiring. Sorry, for the late response but, last week was a very difficult week for me but, your cards brought a smile and helped bring me through it. I am so glad that I started this exchange.
I will be mailing cards out on Monday!
