Now that I have to go to work (like, ummm...10 minutes ago), I wanted to know how many of you actually view this site from work and do you feel guilty? I can't see other websites unless I am at lunch so I just happen to grab something to eat everytime I see the site! LOL
Shhhhhhhhhh....leaving now so that I can get back on later!
Very Rarely! I just don't have time! And when I have viewed SCS from I work I haven't felt guilty because it has been to look something up really quick.... Personally, I really try to keep SCS for home.... but that's just me!
Yes, almost exclusively from work. I can during the winter, but with our busy season coming on I will only get to view for about 15 minutes a day. I don't view much at home because my husband is home alone all day and once I get home he pretty much wants all my attention. (which is ok because he does do everything at home except cook) Do I feel guilty? Not as long as my work is done.

My husband and I are self employed and our offices are in our home so I can go to SCS anytime I want to. As a matter of fact, I'm supposed to be paying bills right now, but I decided to go to my craft room for a few minutes before I start.
I view it at work mostly. Don't tell the wife though, she can't beleive I look at scs at all. I love seeing all the neat art work and samples. Last week she came up with a sample card and I said I saw something like that on splitcoast and she just rolled her eyes.

LOL! That's where I'm at right now. Luckily my screen faces away from the door of my office. Someone has to come in my office and all the way around my desk to see what I'm looking at...so I try to look bored (which is not always easy) so they think I'm actually working.
Rarely! Of 3 employees I am the only who has internet access so I rarely get on. Don't want to cause friction or jealousy! Besides that, most days I have way to much to do and spend most of the day away from my desk!
When I used to work I would "pop" in. But now that I am a "domestic engineer" I get to pop in all the time!!! Guilty then - no because I did not take breaks or lunch. Guilty now, yes only if there is no clean socks

If you are or know my boss, then no, of course not. I would never violate our internet policy at work. If you are not my boss, or have contact with her, then yeah, I do. But I consider it my 'smoking break' so I don't really have much guilt in going on. Plus I need a mental health break off and on during the day, otherwise, I get crabby!! Mary
Luckily, I do some consulting with our greeting card workshop where I work, so I can easily, get away with looking while at work. It's the only breaks that I take and I love it!
Yes... but I'm a grad student so really it's just extending my degree slightly. Plus it's a nice stress reliever when experiments don't work or when computer programs misbehave or when reading papers or.... sigh. Why am I a grad student again?
Yes, of course at work once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I have dial up at home and it is so sloooow. I tend to eat lunch at my desk so that I can look and learn. Of course, that does not stop people from interrupting my lunch time. I won't get on if it is busy at work. So far no one has chastised me for using the internet on work time. Mostly, I peruse the forums and then link to galleries if anything strikes my fancy and always check out the Wednesday tutorials.
I'm really lucky. I am the boss and the only one in my office. If its slow, I'm on. This property is about to be sold (I may be without a job) so all activity here has been suspended for the last couple of days. So I've been online practically 24/7.

No. I would at lunch-time if our internet policy wasn't so incredibly strict. But I work for a HUGE corporation, and every kb of information is monitored. (and they are not just telling us that for pretend play. They really do monitor. I have seen surfing go wrong!)
Sometimes I check my email from my phone and will pop over to the forum via that route to read while on a break or at lunch. But I never post. It's too hard to do it from my cell phone. Much easier to read.
I am in the military and I am an office personb who literally has nothing to do for 9 hours. So yes, all I do is sit on the computer. No one around here knows what SCS is anyway, so they really can't say anything! Do I feel guilty, not really. If they wanted me to work, they would give me work to do!
Absolutely not. I would be fired without even a warning. It is considered stealing because we would not be working but being paid to play around. Cannot even do it at lunch since internet is paid for by the company, as are the computers. Several have been fired for even checking home email on a lunch hour.

Man am I glad I don't work where you so. I look aome at work but not that often. I gennerally am too busy with figuring out claims to be on it much. And you would not believe some of the stuff people try to pull!

Never... i'm another person who works for a (great) company that does monitor internet usage. I really like SCS, but it's not worth losing my job! Besides I'm way too busy during the days that I work to stop by SCS.

My job has been "watching" and has become strict with this. The other day, I was streaming internet radio and I got an email message from the network guy as a reminder that this was not allowed. Big brother is watching.
