Thanks for this awesome chart. I will be able to print it and make a list of the ones I did, and the materials I used, new techniques I learned etc.

Arrow VSN around the world times

Thank you Jen & Dawn for putting that out! I, too, find it helpful in terms of keeping track (or catching up, as I'll be away for a large part on Saturday...grrr...) and especially for keeping track of supplies! That reminds me...I need to get my Stampin' Spots back from my friend...kinda hard to stamp with a handful of colours! *lol*

Aaaand.....for those of you not in the Eastern Time Zone and who want to modify the times before printing them, I bring you....
my VSN around the world 'chart'. I hope I did these right! Tis Daylight Savings Time for Europe & Australia...kinda confusing sometimes! *lol*

March 2007's VSN takes place *this* Friday, March 23rd ('Tailgate party') and Saturday, March 24th. To help you figure out *when* it starts and ends, here are *most* local times for March 2007 ~ VSN Getaway:
Note: /// separates Friday's 'Tailgate party' night from Saturday's Main VSN.

NORTH AMERICA:
  • Newfoundland, Canada: Fri - 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM /// Sat - 1:30 PM to 12:30 AM
  • Atlantic Time Zone: Fri - 8:00 PM to Midnight /// Sat - 1:00 PM to Midnight
  • Eastern Time: Fri - 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM /// Sat - 12:00 noon to 11:00 PM
  • Central: Fri - 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM /// Sat - 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  • Mountain (& Arizona & Saskatchewan): Fri - 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM ///Sat - 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Pacific: Fri - 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM /// Sat - 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Alaska: Fri - 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM /// Sat - 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Hawaii: Fri - 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM /// Sat - 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Note that there US States/Counties who have time zone exceptions.

SOME INTERNATIONAL PLACES : (using the 24 hr. clock) - Note: Europe & Australia change their clocks this weekend.
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina: Fri - 20:00 to Midnight /// Sat - 13:00 to Midnight
  • Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Fri - 20:00 to Midnight /// Sat - 13:00 to Midnight
  • UK & Portugal: Fri - 23:00 to 03:00 /// Sat - 16:00 to 04:00 Sun (er...because of Daylight Savings Time)
  • Central Europe: Sat - Midnight to 04:00 /// Sat -17:00 to 05:00 Sun
  • Eastern Europe (example: Finland): Sat - 01:00 to 05:00 /// Sat - 18:00 to 06:00 Sun
  • Singapore & Hong Kong: Sat - 07:00 to 11:00 am /// Sun - Midnight to 11:00 am
  • Tokyo: Sat - 08:00 to 12:00 noon /// Sun - 01:00 to 12:00 noon
  • Perth: Sat - 08:00 to 12:00 noon /// Sun - 01:00 to 11:00
  • Sydney & Melbourne, Australia: Sat - 10:00 to 14:00 /// Sun - 02:00 to 13:00
  • Auckland: Sat - 11:00 am to 15:00 /// Sun - 04:00 to 15:00

If you're still unsure, here's a suggestion using TimeAndDate.com (which is what I used):
Click here to see the list of start times for FRIDAY for quite a few cities - just add 4 hours to figure out the stop time
Click here to see the list of start times for SATURDAY for quite a few cities - just add 11 hours to figure out the stop time (er...in terms of the stop time, just watch out for daylight savings, for some of you.)

Please let me know if I have any errors! I hope this helps! I hope this encourages some of our fellow non-North Americans to participate! So what if it's in the middle of the night? Hehehehe.
