Default Faux Etched Glass

Just posted a card with this cool technique I learned while at a SU! business seminar in Holland, MI a couple weeks ago.
The card is here.
Full tutorial is on My Blog.

Basics:
1. Scratch clear button with sanding block or paper.
2. Rub with embossing buddy.
3. Stamp with Versamark.
4. Emboss with Clear EP.

Just had to share a technique that actually made me use the buttons I had been collecting for the past year!

wonder if this would work with acetate... you could cover more space... I'll have to try it!

I keep seeing cards with faux wood technique on them but have been unsuccessful at finding directions. Can someone please enlighten me as I live in a country area where I believe this technique would be appropriate to use as a demo.

Thanks for all the faux techniques listed from everyone, I will definitely be adding this to my favorites.
