Delia,
I received a birth announcement for twins that reads:
Double the diapers
Double the pins
Double the sleepers
We've just had twins
We are "two" happy to announce......
I need a twin girl card today so here's what I am putting inside the card. The baby girls were prematurely born in November. They were not due till January so we are just getting to have the shower.
Double the diapers
Double the pins
Double the sleepers
You've just had twins
Double the giggles
Double the love
These baby girls
Were sent from above
Just thought these would be good to add to the list.
Thanks so much for all the updates!!!
Just a question, do you ladies handwrite these on your cards or do you use computer printouts?
TIA
Oh Tia,
I have the worse handwriting, so I print them out on the computer. I edit them, center and use the font I want and then cut it out to mount on my card.
Thanks so much Janet!!! I just had a friend who had twins. I will add these when I get to work on Monday. I will try to update by the end of the week. :p

This post is great. I went back to the very first post that started this and, of course, the list has a date in 07. Is there a way for you to keep your most current list on top? Or is there a better way for me to find your most recently updated list? I see several posts that say you will add the new ones.
Thanks.

 Hi! This is just what I've been looking for but every time I click on the underlined words sentiment list it just opens this thread and I can't find the list itself. Can anyone direct me? I had posted a thread somewhere else asking about the sentiments people use and someone directed me to this one. It sounds wonderful!!! Thanks in advance!

I have update and added the new lists to post #1. I had one little problem, I can't upload the word file it's over the memory limit allowed. So unless anyone can give me a solution, I will only put up the excel files. Thanks all and enjoy!

Delia,
Thank you so much for all the work you put into this. You are a real blessing to us all!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, Delia! I was looking for sentiments to tie on a prayer shawl for a good friend who just lost her father, and your Sympathy section was perfect! Thank you again for all the time you take to do this for us - it's a very rich resource!! :p
I had come across this a week or so ago, but didn't get a chance to look at it because I don't have excel. I just downloaded the Excel Viewer so I could see these and oh my Gosh, this is an amazing compilation of sentiments! What an incredible amount of time went into doing this. Thank you so much!
I just got back from my mini easter vacation and I saw the thank you comments so I popped in to say thanks. Many people have helped me make this list great...I love it and use it all the time. Hugs to all

I received an e-mail today with quotes, some of which I though would make some fun quirky sentiments for cards. I hope none of these offend anyone...it surely isn't my intention.
1. My husband and I divorced over religious differences. He thought he was God and I didn't.
2. I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
3. Some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them.
4. I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.
5. Don't take life too seriously; No one gets out alive.
6. You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me
7. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
8. Earth is the insane asylum for the universe.
9. I'm not a complete idiot -- Some parts are just missing.
10. Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.
11. NyQuil, the stuffy, sneezy, why-the-heck-is-the-room-spinning medicine.
12. God must love stupid people; He made so many.
13. The gene pool could use a little chlorine.
14. Consciousness: That annoying time between naps.
15. Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?
16. Being 'over the hill' is much better than being under it!
17. Wrinkled Was Not One of the Things I Wanted to Be When I Grew up.
18. Procrastinate Now!
19. I Have a Degree in Liberal Arts; Do You Want Fries With That?
20. A hangover is the wrath of grapes.
21. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a cash advance
22. Stupidity is not a handicap. Park elsewhere!
23. They call it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken.
24. He who dies with t he most toys is nonetheless DEAD.
25. A picture is worth a thousand words, but it uses up three thousand times the memory.
26. Ham and eggs.A day's work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a pig.
27. The trouble with life is there's no background music.

29. I smile because I don't know what the he** is going on.
I have a card ministry sending cards to 50 nursing home, retirement center and shut ins from my church. I know there are several others on the list that have card ministry's very similar. Here are a few quotes I use for these seniors:
Hope your day is filled with one blessing after another.
A happy heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22
We hope you have a very happy heart today that carries
you through the whole week.

Somewhere I missed the posting for the updated list. I have excel so would love to see the updated list. I also have a suggestion for a thank you card. I made one with bees all over the front and the words buzz by each bee. inside it said "thanks a "buzz" zillion.
For the word file could you break it into smaller segments?
I update the first page of this thread. The update will always be in Post #1. That way no one has to go through all the pages to find the latest update. Breaking it up is an idea, I will think this one over. But honestly, it's best to use an excel program.
I love your sentiment for a bee card. Very cute. It will be on the next update. Thanks so much for helping out.
Thanks for the great list of sentiments - I am always stuck for appropriate sayings when I am making cards and now that I have found this list - it will save me a lot of time.
Thanks everyone!
Can I just say that I am so glad I found this thread. This is absolutely amazing. It will be a huge help. You are the bomb. That was a tremendous amout of work. Thank you so much.
