Here is a question for those of you with blogs - How did you choose a name for it? I have been thinking of starting one and I can't seem to come up with any good names. What was your trick?
I'm boring, I just used my user ID, which I've been using online for the last 8 years or so. Everywhere I go I'm "phunkymama." I asked a friend a while ago because I was thinking of changing, and she told me that it's too "me" now to change, LOL!
First I had paper and ink, but discovered a few other with similar variations. I just thought and thought and thought. I wanted something that sounded like fun. So, I came up with paperlicious.

I dunno - I never really put a whole lot of thought into it - I live in the middle of the Canadian prairies - so the name of my blog wasn't too much of a stretch for me to come up with ;)
My blog name was also my group name (is that what you call it?) when I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I can't remember exactly how I came up with it... I think I just jotted down a bunch of words and put them together... and I thought it looked cool with the "dots" between the words. Ok, I may be a nut. LOL
When I was thinking of a name, I thought, "Okay, I'm a stamp designer, and concept artist but I also am a Mom and wife so really, this is all just A Day in the Life... " And it stuck.

Well for mine, I work at a newspaper. So I get ink all over my fingers at work handling the newspapers and I get ink all over at home too by stamping... so I'm "Ink Artist"
Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Well I've had my blog for longer than I've been stamping and I basically named it for my passion in life (My Great Danes of course!). It's the same as my screen name here, since I started using this site just this year. So I guess it'll depend on if your blog will just be about your stamping addiction, or about your life in general.
When I started my blog, I wanted the name the paper garden but wanted it a little more snazzy. When I think of a garden I usually think of the book the Secret Garden, very enchanting place, hence the name The Enchanted Paper Garden.
My email is comestampwithme, my web site is comestampwithmichelle (comestampwithme was taken), my personal site that links to my SU website is Come Stamp With Me, so it was only natural that my blog be Come Stamp With Me as well!
Well...mine is kind of boring, after reading everyone else's, but with the popularity of "McDreamy" and "McSteamy" and Gray's Anatomy. I thought it would be funny to use my last name (Mick) and go with Mickstampin'
Hope that helps!!

This is all so interesting! My group name is "Stampstars"... and I have always been "staramaze" online (in chat rooms and such)... I have a bunch of tattoos of stars; I just love stars! But "Sarah and the Stampstars" just evolved because I always wanted to be in a band! I'm just trying to keep stampin' "hip with the kids"! I keep forgeting I am 34! :p

I went with what I know and love.... ribbon. LOL My friends always tease that me if people really knew how much ribbon I had they would arrange an intervention. Confessions of a ribbon addict seemed appropriate.
I took mine from a quote I like: "Artistic creativity is a whirlpool of imagination that swirls in the depths of the mind" (Robert Toth). Hence, "Whirlpool of Imagination"
Way back when, when I needed to create a Yahoo email address (long before I even heard of Stampin' Up!) I chose stampingoddess- because after all, I AM a Goddess (at least in my own mind). Thus, when I started my blog, I chose Stampin' With the Goddess.
I wanted a name that could be used for any part of my life. (but mainly crafting) I sat and created a list of things that liked about art...what made cards I like "stand out" and what kinds of things I wanted to be known for. I came up with Distinctive Touches. I like to add my own personal touch to everything I do. (cleaning, painting, dancing, stamping, decorating...)
good luck - let us know when you start blogging so we can visit.

For me, I grew up as a child of hippies - all about peace, love, sunshine, flowers, rainbows and all that groovy stuff. haha! My daughter's middle names are Shalom (Hebrew for "peace") and Sunshine. I became SunshineMama on chats and forums a long time ago. (I was HippieMama to my friends before that.) When I started my blog, though, I wanted it to be about stamping, so I carried over the "Mama" theme and became StampinMama. My personal blog, which I have a link to from my StampinMama blog is SunshineMama. I'm a Mama, but just have split personalities, as my hubby would like to say. The SunshineMama and the StampinMama.

Stampin' With Ashley... I use it as the title of the newsletter I send out. So, I figured I'd use it for my blog as well.
It isn't all that creative, but it works..
