Default I had no idea...

I picked up my first TAC Idea book and catty last night- I had no idea Tac carried such a wide variety of stamp sets.I am in so much trouble!! LOL Even DH was impressed. ("You will have that!" Dh's words on several items in the catty.) If you have never seen the catty I would high recommend getting one ASAP!

(off to drool over my new addiction......)

Yes, I love ANY new catty! My heart rate speeds up and I start turning the pages slowly, then speed up and then about halfway through I start getting overwhelmed and cross-eyed but I make it to the finish line!
Sigh... and then I have to go back through and make a wish list It's tiring, I tell ya.

Here's another suggestion for ya...After you've been through the catty a few times going FORWARDS, start at the back and go BACKWARDS! You'll see different things, more things, new things, things you didn't see the first 5 times!!!! Look out!!!! :-) Glad you like it! :-)

That is awesome that your DH supports you like that. Mine does too and it is nice. Yes the TAC catalog is fantastic isn't it? The prices are so good. They have some great flower sets, like I need anymore but you know...
Have a blast looking through the catalog and be sure to type in TAC in a search in the gallery here from some awesome samples. We'll want to see yours also!

It is a great catty. I decided after I got mine that I wanted to be a TAC demo...so I signed up before I even made my first order! ;)

I am totally amazed at all of the great products in the catty. It is like DH said, I don't even have to leave home to shop now.(He also said, "That's scary.")LOL I have all of my "scramping" needs contained in one catty. That makes shopping so much easier with a newborn and a very active toddler! LOL

Jessica, I can see why you would want to be an Angel!!

Now to decide on my first order................................

You can go the TAC website, Click on the Shop Now link, add your zip code, and then youll be able to view the products (not the actual catalogue) at a demos site.

TAC has great products (love UM!!!) and a great hostess benefits program! Currently their art style is not really my taste, but I will be keeping my eye on future catalogues and minis from this great company.

I am constantly going through the SU catalog, my favorite stamp company, the images are much more my style. But yes, I drool over it each and every time I look at it. In fact, next month I am the hostess for the stamp club and man I am definitely shopping in advance for those free goodies, other than the 100.00+ that I am purchasing, lol.

Ah yes.....I discovered TAC stamps about a month and a half ago and my new TAC demo (who lives on the other side of the country from me) traded catalogs with me. I've been drooling over the catty since I got it. LOVE their stuff!

I put in a $50 order before I even had the catty in my hand!!!

I have been seeing some really cool cards (Papercrafts magazine - Christmas issue) that have been made with TAC stamps. I think I'll have to go look at their website.

Ladies, I do not think the web sites do the catty justice. I have never been able to see half the goodies on the sites. And the samples are awesome- just wish they included the "recipes". Well worth the $$$.

You can see what supplies they used to make the samples in the catalogue, its posted on the TAC site:

And now that the FS has come out. I'm getting into trouble a little bit more.

I just place a personal order to the tune of $65.00.

Oh well it just money!:-D

I can't wait till I get mine stuff and start playing.
I got stuff for Fall and Christmas.

Something I have done is my Personal Catalog is take a yelow Highlighter and draw a line through the ones I want.

And then took a Orange marker to mark the ones that I have.

This save's me from ordering stuff I already have.

Nancy,

I use an orange highlighter to mark the stuff I already have too! I don't bother to highlight a wish list though because it changes each time I order and it's too long! My daughter just made her wish list for me.........yikes!

I find the TAC catalogue fascinating - some of the styles are so different (almost ugly), but I admire the company for taking risks and trying to come up with something new. That being said, I did notice that this year's catalogue has some sets that are similar to SU and Hero Arts (but they've got to make their bread and butter somehow to stay in business!).

I appreciate the creativity in all three (SU, CTMH, TAC) catalogue-based companies!

I look through my catalog backwards too!

The TAC catalog is what made me decide to be a demo- I signed up before touching a single stamp (once I was assured they were deeply etched rubber). I do not regret it for a second.

There are a few sets I would call "ugly" in the catalog- but I have friends for whom these sets classify as favorites- so I guess they know what they are doing- got to have something for everybody!

I do wish the websites had samples, but at least they have online shopping carts!

are you left handed? left handed people are known to start at the back of mags or catty . after reading about tac on SCS I tried to sign up to look
at the catty online but had trouble signing up.

Nope, not left handed- just weird I guess
(Of course I take my catalog to work and look at it at lunch everyday- I get SO many ideas)

You shouldn't need to sign up to look at the catalog.
Go to here- http://www.ismyangel.net/Locator/ and type in your zipcode, than click on a site. When you get to the site, click on the "products" tab. Then all the different products are in the sidebar.

(Or, click on the XXXX.ismyangel.net sites in people's signatures here at SCS, then do the same thing)

Unfortunately it isn't formatted like the catalog, and there are no samples, but you can get an idea of what is available.

Sounds like I need to check out TAC sooner rather than later. BTW, I look at all magazines/catalogs back to front (and I'm right handed too!).

I just got a TAC catalog from Skittl1321. I like a lot of what I see in it, but I am relieved not to be a TAC demo, LOL! YOu all have way too much in there. With my obsession for getting everything SU! sells so I can demo it all, I would go broke if I sold TAC! ;)

I'm not a lefty either....just like to see things from a different perspective! And you're right about watching the $$$. We have sooooo much that I have to remember that I don't have to demo EVERY singel item me carry just ALMOST every item! LOL :-) Actually as long as it's all my business fund and not family $, I'm ok and DH is ok.

:-D I think the online catalogue is a great idea to peek at what's there but you are right, so many people have commented on what a beautiful Idea Book it is as well! I like that fact, too, that the stamps in the catalogue are shown at actual size so there is no "guessing" (I know SU and CTMH are that way too!). The online catalogue is also neat because it includes many stamp sets from last year's catalogue that you may still order...in fact, you can order any of the stamp sets from LAST year even now (that may be bad news for some! tee hee).

But remember, if you do see something you like, contact a demo so that they can place your order for you...and you can take advantage of the free Gift With Purchase stamps TAC has available. You just don't get those online. :???:

The demos listed on the website are only the demos who have the website with online shopping cart, that is not a complete listing of demos. You can contact TAC by calling 785-820-9181 and they can set you up with a demo that is closest to you.

How do TAC stamps come? Are they unmounted and you use the acrylic blocks? I can't tell from the website. Or maybe I'm missing it. If you order a stamp set do you automatically get a mounting system or do you have order that extra?

They come with a sheet of rubber plus the sheet of creative cling. You must purchase the acrylic blocks separate. This link gives you a picture of what it looks like. http://www.theangelcompany.net/assembly

Actually, CTMH stamps are not shown at actual size in their catalog.

Cool TAC Papers!!!!

The maillady just left my package from TAC that I ordered on Monday through the Website.

Yes I place an order through my website. I wanted to know what it was like.

so I can tell my customer what to expect.

Well anyway I got my package of goodies today, and let me tell you. That the New Paper's from the Fall Supplements is Awesome!

I got the Genevieve V-852 It comes with Matching Tags, Tabs, and this one is the
9x9 size the color's are very cool looking.
the sad things is I don't want to use it!

I think I will hoard this one away for awhile or until I find a good use for them.

Plus I got some of the New Abc Frameworks Which is White Chipboard. Postive and Negative.
Vintage Holiday Red paper pack, For my christmas Cards.

Oooo.... I think I will have to have some Fun this weekend making Christmas cards and other cards as well.
While I'm in the Basement doing laundry.

Just wanted to let you know the paper is Awesome!!!!

Hoarding is just part of the obsession!! I also loved the new papers you all had. I don't do 9x9 so I didn't order any of those...although they are fantastic!!! I would like to see the regular catty though....

Like many have already said, my first view and I was hooked. I became a demo with very little effort or convincing.

The Fall Suppliment along with my "NEED" to build up my (Ah Hem) supplies is costing me a fortune. I reall, really love the back of the book too. Yummy!
