Here are some real life photos of all of the animals in wildlife reserve, I thought it might be useful and since it was so time consuming I thought it would be a good idea to share. My father in law used to be a hunting guide and I would never hear the end of it if I colored one of the animals wrong, and since I bought the set mainly for the purpose of making cards for him...I better get it right!

Great idea! I, for one, am not going to get close up to a grizzly bear to see which shade of brown pencil matches his fur. Photos are WAY safer. LOL

okay, my husband and I are in disagreement as to whether the 'deer' is really an elk. i think elk he thinks deer. his dad was the guide not mine so i put deer, i really think it is wrong though so if i find a good picture i will change it. elk are just a darker brown with an even darker brown 'beard' i will have to ask my F-I-L!!

I would call that stamp image an elk. But I'm not an expert. It's the dark "jabot" on his chest that makes me think elk.
Of course, there are a good many varieties of both deer and elk. On a visit to upstate New York I was totally amazed at how tiny all the deer were.
