I have a friend whose father is very ill. He of course received a TON of cards from well wishers. Her mother has been taking care of him day and night. She requested that we "shower" her with some cards. I've got a a Thinking of You card, but I have NO idea what to put on the inside. Can you wonderful stampers help me out? THANK YOU!!!

Not long ago there was a thread in this forum telling about this site. In just a week or so I have found a lot of sentiments, verses, and background templates to make use of. I could not figure out how to copy and paste from here, but just typed individual verses to print from the computer to cs.

You might want to check it out - click on the Card verses "button".

(There have been some previous threads on other websites with verses, quotes, etc.)

My daughter's MIL was very ill for a long time and just recently passed away, but for the last six months I sent her a card weekly and put a scripture verse inside and also said that she was in my prayers and that we were always thinking of her. I thanked her in one of the cards I sent for being such a wonderful mom for raising the finest son in law that I could have. Of course he is my only son in law, but I still think he is the greatest. It became very difficult after several months for me to try and come up with something new to say each week, but I managed to do it. Good luck in whatever you say. I'm sure it will be fine.

I put this saying in a card for friend's mother who was dying of cancer (found it on some website that sold cards):

Wishing you strength and
courage in this difficult time.
With Thoughts
and Prayers
