I use 2 oz. of hairspray, 2 oz. of rubbing alcohol, and 1 teaspoon of PearlEx in a small spray/mist bottle.

I read somewhere to put a BB or two (from a BB gun) into the bottle to help mix it all up while shaking, but the BB rusted and turned the mixture a rusty color. I now use plastic BB's from my son's airsoft guns and they work great.

Darn I miss that Edit button!

It should be a 1/2 teaspoon of PearlEx. Sorry!

Also, here's a thread with other great PearlEx ideas: Forums at Splitcoaststampers

My stamp store did a demo using gum arabic and water. about 1/2 t. and a couple of ounces of water. add pearl x to that. It worked and I did it long ago but don't remember the precise amounts but that sounds about right.

I bought a sample-sized pump bottle of hairspray and added a little pearl-ex. It doesn't take much! Just shake well before using.
