My challenge was inspired by a swap that I received at my upline's last meeting. You must make a card using a lunch bag! These cards are great for tucking in gift certificates or $$$!!
The lunch bag can be any color, if you happen to have white instead of brown that is fine. If you don't have any lunch bags, then try cutting a 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 piece from a large grocery bag.
The purpose of this challenge is to use the lunch bag as the base of the card!
You can fold the lunch bag however you would like! To help get you going, here are a few options on how to fold it:
Directions shared by stampcrazed2:
1. You need a papercutter with a scoring blade or a bonefolder. You will make no cuts (just scores). You will also need scissors and one brown or white lunch bag.
2. Take your paper brown/white lunch bag start with the OPEN end of the bag using your fiskers (or whatever brand you have) papercutter stick the OPEN end into the papercutter and score at 1" then score at 5" take it out and fold.
3. The open end is folded on the inside of the card/bag and glued or stapled to keep it from flappin'.
4. Then fold again and the bottom part of the card will be your closure flap that can lay over the top. However, the bottom part is two sections, you will need to glue the other section down (basically folding the bottom part in half, one side used at the front of the card the other at the back glued down) Then cut the corners of my flap with scissors at an angle just for decoration.
Directions shared by emilymomto3boys:
1. Horizontally in front of me, open end to the left and the sealed stuff facing up to the right.
2. Then fold the open end so that it goes under the flappy part of the closed end. (this made the flappy end overlap the open end...so that you would pull it out and open it.)
3. Then fold the extra part of the closed end back to the back of the card - basicaly this makes that sealed part half as big.
4. Tye ribbon around the folded part and seal the part folded over the back to cover the ribbon. So the part of the bag that the chicken cs is on is tucked into the part where the ribbon is tied on.
Please keep in mind that you may fold the bag however you would like! Those are just two options on how to fold your lunchbag.
Big thanks to my VSN Diva Sisters for sharing the way they folded their cards!
In my sample, I cut along the inside seam to make a pocket for a package of cocoa! I also made it very similarly to how stampcrazed2 described.
DO NOT FORGET TO PUT JANVSNF IN YOUR KEYWORDS WHEN YOU UPLOAD YOUR CARD!

Thanks, badmom, I just choked on tiny bag particles that were in the bottom of the bag. I knew I shouldn't have listened to you. Bwhahaha
