Going into Spring (yes, I know it's the middle of Winter, but I am optimistic I would get soft subtles right now. Then I'd want bold brights for Summer!!
MY vote goes for Subtles because they are more easily blended into the other families whereas the brights would not....but take a look in your own gallery and find out what colors you reach for the most....I know I am an earth/subtle kinda girl....they work for me...
I voted for bold brights because that's the color family I use most often. I have a 2 yo ds whom I scrapbook, and those colors seem to work best for him - they're pretty high energy like he is lol. I use the ss, but not as much.
I voted for Soft Subtles, they work well with the other three set, whereas the Bold Brights work better on their own.
Also, soft subtles craft ink look fantastic on dark card.
I voted for the Bold Brights. I just don't use the Soft Subtles near as much as the Bold Brights. I think the Bold Bright colors are a lot more versatile.

Just to let you know I chose Soft Subtles because I understand they blend more easily with the other families of colors. I was planning to buy just one set of inks and cardstock but, in the end, I treated myself to Rich Regals as well! I just couldn't resist those gorgeous pinks!!!!... Isn't SU addictive???!? Anyway, I'll add Bold Brights to my wish list.
Many thanks for your replies. Your advice was much appreciated!
