14 miles north of Muskegon. I collect anything that is used for rubber stamping and never use it, lol, sorry but true. If you have a shoebox toward the end of the year I will come, even if it is in a blizzard...the more snow the better........and I will even bring a firend, she loves to travel with me, in fact we are going to St. Louis the end of July to meet up with a group and stamp. Way too cool.

Hello from Six Lakes -- "middle of the mitten", about 40 miles south of Mt. Pleasant (CMU country). Originally from the Thumb (North Branch) would love to live back that way someday as all our family still lives there!! Nice to see so many Michiganders out there :-)

I love to stamp, but the traveling with you and in the snow welllllllllll that is quite a different story !! lol
I'm originally from Michigan, but now live in Oregon....Going back to Michigan this friday and will be there for 10 days if anyone wants to meet and stamp or go to lunch or something.
I'm originally from Muskegon; moved to the "huge" town of Twin Lake about 10years ago, but still work in Muskegon. I was happy to see Muskegon mentioned. Maybe we know each other??

I was bombarding your Post Office the last 2 weeks! My neice was at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake and I was sending cards to her everyday (her request and her fav Aunt just had to!!LOL ) I also went there numerous times many years ago too! Nice area.

All those other states seem to have lots happening......Are there any events, stamp camps, shoebox swaps planned for this fall that you know of ?
Ginger in Rochester Hills
I would LOVE to! Would just depend on dates & $$ and hubby approval - know how that goes! Actually, he's usually great about it. Would love to hook up with my fellow Michiganders.

OOPS...Danistamps..I meant "Good" idea...I guess I shouldn't be on the computer so early in the morning. My spelling suffers!

I would participate! I am in the village of Clinton (in between Adrian and the Saline/Ann Arbor area), but don't mind driving an hour or so to meet up. I would be happy to carpool if anyone is interested. What would be a good date? Maybe early November (after regionals, but before the holiday madness...) or is that too late?
I am fron Royal Oak, MI. I would love to participate in a SE Michigan get together
I am so happy to see so many Yoopers too! My parents were both raised in the UP, and we still have my grandparents house in the Keweenaw (Chassell to be exact) so we usually spend a lot of time up there. Because of job issues we haven't made it up in over a year, but we hope to get up there, hopefully twice, next year! Hey, and I would consider travelling for a Yooper Stamp event! Could life get better than stamping AND pasties!? Our dream is to retire there eventually.
Who's all going to the Lansing regional? I'm registered for Saturday. If anyone else is going to the regional we are planning a dinner for Saturday night. Take a look in the Events section on the demo side.
I'm subscribing to see if anyone plans anything. I would be interested in coming if you do.
I live in Novi, but go to church in Royal Oak. I might be able to set up a Satuday Shoebox Stamping day at my Church (in Royal Oak), Michigan--early November. Would anyone be interested?
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
I'm in MD now but born and bred a Michigander. I grew up in Madison Heights in Oakland County, went to college in Ann Arbor and vacation near Frankfort (at Crystal Lake). I love the all stamping stores in MI. We don't have much in my area of MD. It's great to read about all the places I know and remember!
Hi!! I live in Vernon, Michigan. It is a small village between Corunna and Durand. I work in Okemos. I have family in the Keewanaw Peninsula. Lake Linden and Houghton to be exact.
Hi,
I will check the church calendar for a Saturday in early November and post sometime next week about the date and time. We have a big room, so we won't have to limit the number of stampers! Can't wait!!!

I moved here to Michigan (New Baltimore) a month ago. I LOVE it here, the fall is so pretty already. Anyway, if y'all decide to have a get together, I would love to come, if that would be ok??
