You do.....it just takes alot of time and money upfront to reserve places. We have only had one person even say they were interested. We would love to do it...but even if you aren't sure if you can, speak up if interested. We at least want some people that might be able to come.
I hope you can make it...we would love to meet you....

I too am interested, but can't commit yet because of my work schedule. How many people were you hoping to get? Could one of our houses work? Then you wouldn't have to worry about renting a space.

I think we decided that we would need about 20 people to make it a go. We have a couple of people we know personally that are interested. So I think we have about 7people interested so far. With ordering the food, and all the work that is going to be put into it we would like it to be 20. So if anyone else is interested please let us know. We would love to meet everyone...

I would love to, but not sure I could make it. I will let my mom know -- she lives about 45 miles from Portland. She was a demo in Enterprise, but is now living in Rainier, OR. She doesnt know many stampers down there, so she may be really intrested in sharing ideas. Are you open to other dealers?

Hello everyone....
This is Carrie and (speaking also for Rebecca).
We really wanted to do this Holiday Stamp Fest and meet everyone. Unfortunately there isn't enough people to make it a go. For what we wanted to do, and have for everyone we can't do with this few of people.
We still want to meet you all so maybe we can plan a get together with all that were interested and do a shoebox swap or something after the holidays are done. We could all bring a food item to share, and just make it a fun gathering and make cards. Hopefully Rebecca will be feeling better by then as well. (You might have seen on other posts that Rebecca just found out a couple of months ago she is pregnant).
Hope everyone has a great Holiday season...and sorry we couldn't meet this month...
Carrie (and Rebecca)

Hello Carrie,
I was really looking forward to meeting you guys. I had not heard anything so I had figured that it probably wasn't going to be able to happen. After the holidays would be great just keep me posted on when, where & what to bring.

Hi Carrie!
Count me in! We can always use my house if need be. It's big and we have plenty of space for big tables!

Wow...Thanks Alicia! I might just take you up on that idea. My house is a little small for a big gathering...I could handle a group of like 6, but if its bigger than that....I think maybe we could do it at your house. Thanks for offering that to us all. Now I won't have to worry about a place to do it at.
Can't wait to meet everyone....

Hi guys,
This will be so much fun. Alicia, I was just wondering what area do you live in? Let me know Carrie if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hi Shannon!
I live in the Gladstone/Milwaukie area, right off I-205. It takes about 25 minutes to get here from Beaverton, as long as it's not during rush hour!!

Hi guys,
That sounds like so much fun. I don't know if I will be albe to make it then. My reason is that I don't drive & I think that my DH might have a bit of a problem driving that far just to drop me off & pick me up. When would you like to know for sure who is coming or not. Also what is a shoebox swap? I have never heard of one. I will keep my fingers crossed maybe if I am extra nice to DH he will take me. I am going to be realy bummed if I can't make it.

A shoebox swap I have heard is where you...
Design a card that you want everyone to make....
Cut out enough pieces for everyone...
Then you show them how you put it together and everyone makes the card you designed.
So if everyone brings a shoebox swap and there are 10 people...you will leave the night having made 10 cards that you can take home.
We will have to get a count of people a couple nights before to make sure everyone cuts enough supplies for everyone to make a card.

Thanks
