Yes -they came out with a longer platform. The emboss plus folders are new- they cut and emboss simultaneously. And the quilling dies for flowers are new for the cuttlebug as well. HTH

I love my BICs -sooooo much cheaper than Copics....

I love my BICs -sooooo much cheaper than Copics. As for shading-it's different in that you have to layer the colors for the shading-the inks will not blend.

If you want it for scrapbooking more than card making -go for the Expression. With the Expression you can create full page mattes for your LO"s. I started with the little bug , then got the big E....
