i use my Nestabilities, the rectangle ones, and use the inside edge to draw against. it makes the corners easier too!

i too, used the magnetic sheets from walmart. they are in the crafting section, and are usually used for making your own photo magnets. and they already have the adhesive on one side!

i did use the freezer method with just a circle or square punch, and it worked perfect. a lot less trouble than soda cans for me. ;)
