Mailing the cards generally is easy; the quilling is really quite stable the closed and scrolls shapes. Just layer with some bubble-wrap and then a cardstock on top to enclose.

Sounds like you only need to use repositionable...

Sounds like you only need to use repositionable glue to a piece of c/s to put into the entre of the card that you're embossing. Then you're only embossing the area outside of it.
