Yes-but you can use smaller pieces of paper for the smaller parts. And yes it's a lot of work-I have some HK sizzlits and they're even worse. I did a vinyl one and it was a giant pain.

I ordered Friday morning early and still have not gotten a shipping notice yet either... the website says, "In Process.":???:

All I ordered was the BS... it was for my birthday (this past Sunday) and I still haven't heard from them... website says, "In Process."

I believe they use UPS (at least they did on all my orders). Mine shipped last night and it takes 3 days to get to me from their location in ALISO VIEJO, CA.
I also received my shipping notice AFTER it went into shippied status.
They do ship UPS.
I ordered mined last Friday and it will be Tuesday so thats about 10 days.
Thanks for clarifying for them Gale. Yes, I have NO idea how long it would take for UPS to get a package to me. Everything has to go through USPS. Are they going to send it priority or space available, that is the question??? Will I see it next week, or not until sometime around the holidays if at all? Gotta love space a mail!
I've ordered from Sizzix way too much this year This is my between 5-7th time this year alone. There have been too many good deals to not pass up. I shop for myself, mom, nieces and nephew and occasionally a friend or coworker. This go around I ordered 2 of the Hello Kitty Big Shots for my nieces and nephew to upgrade them from the original Sizzix machine on Sat 10/17 for the 29.99 deal. Received my shipping notice on 10/21 and estimated delivery (which is usually accurate) is expected on Mon 10/26. From CA to PA this is pretty typical and I've never had an issue ordering directly from Sizzix.
What is the difference between the Big Shot and the Big Kick (which is the one sold by SU! right?)?
I don't know about the Big Kick, but SU sells the Big Shot. The difference between the SU Big Shot and any other Big Shot is ONLY color. I thought it was ridiculous when SU demos had to stop using previously purchased Big Shots in other colors when SU brought out it's "exclusive" black Big Shot!
Sh! Mine's here, I beat DH home, got it off the porch, and hid it in my craft room. Unpacked it, it seems fine, and so do the two dies I bought. I'll have to hide it for a while, he's been yelling about my credit card balance, yuck!
I was just at the sizzix.com site looking at the clearance things. If you don't mind pink, the Hello Kitty Pink Hot shot is $39.99!
Hi - have just found this thread. I'm interested, even though on the other side of the world. I've typed in sissix.com but I can't locate the hot shot or much else. Every time I type in a search it just takes me over to Aussie links which really isn't what you're working with.
Could someone send me the link to the page where this is listed? Perhaps it's too late to purchase, and perhaps postage to Australia spoils the deal but I'd like to find out more.
Does this machine accept CB folders and Nestabilities?
