There's a Stampin Up set from 2002 called "Mini Mates" that has a hand with a heart in the middle. Sounds like it is just the perfect size for your friend's project and I think she could stamp it...

I use snaps with the toomuchfun folding shirts rubber stamps. I made a high school letter jacket for a graduation card and the snaps added just the right touch of authenticity. They're great!!
