I will go with 13 for this month and see if I can't catch up for the year. I feel like I will be off to a slow start even though it is national scrapbooking month.
Okay, I'm in! I just counted and I have done 20 pages thus far this year. I guess put me down for 8 this month! We will see how it goes. It's a BUSY month ahead!
Hey Patter! It's so cool to see you in the scrapbook goals thread!

OKay..... March Madness Here I come!
I am going to take the plunge and move myself from Hobbyist back to full time Demo with SU!. I am soooooo tired of being someone else's gopher and I think I just need to be back home with my kids more and having a chance to do the things that I really love. Since I really don't have to work and Coldstone was actually a favor for my hubby. I think I will soon be done... I have a passion for paper and teaching that I have missed dearly and some recent events in my life has helped to realize and treasure this chance that I have been given. SO with that being said.... My MArch Goals are going to be a little higher than the past two months and my blog will change to reflect my business.... thus the motion for my MARCH MADNESS!!!!!!

I wish you the best of luck, I plan on doing the same once I have a place to do my crafts, hubby knows it better be done before he leaves for a month, I too really want to get back into my SU business, I so enjoy it and miss not creating with paper lately!!!
You will reach your goals, can't wait to see what you come up with, your creations are always such an inspiration!

Thanks, I have really missed being part of this team and my SU! team. I am truly an orphaned Demo now and I really feel like I am starting totally over in more ways than one. So maybe we can chat and build our teams together...
I haven't been doing so well on my scrapbook goals so far this year, and March promises to be a really busy month (in-law visit, DS birthday, housewarming, leadership training, church luncheon, to name a few things), but I am going to a scrapbook retreat at the end of the month and I think that will save me! Lela, please put me down for 20 this month. After all, I need to use up my stash of CTMH papers so I can buy some of the ones in the new catalog. It's my responsibility as a consultant, right? ;)

sounds like a plan, I know I need the help and support too, even though my upline is 90 miles away I haven't seen her since I moved (4 years ago) except maybe once or twice, we chat on the phone or email periodically but I do miss going to her house, just not easy with two little ones

You go Anavon! I like your enthusiasm and excitement for your paper-crafting and your SU career.
My SU order is due to arrive on my door-step today! So, when that arrives I will be re-stocking my craft room and paper files. But, I do hope to scrapbook today!;)

Thanks for the heads up Wendy. I really like the color scheme being used at DD. Gingerscraps is cute but I don't do much cute stuff since I've got a "boy".

I was thinking the same thing Jennipher. Go Anavon and Charlsanne. I bought some sleeves the other day at AC Moore and put in the couple of 12x12s that I've done with paper and realized it's really fun to look thru them and touch them (unlike the digi ones I've been doing and are not printed out yet). I just really need that inspiration and space to do paper!
I did start getting space by taking one 10-ream paper box of old investment brochures and reports and sorting them. Ended up with 22 pounds of paper to recycle! Couldn't believe it would weigh THAT much! (and that didn't include what I ended up shredding) It's amazing what companies spend on mailings that just get tossed! But that is one box closer to MORE space in my office/craft room!
Jennipher - That is AWESOME! So excited for you! Went to the doctor last week and she mentioned "our" weight loss journey...I wanted to ask if she was planning on paying my gym or weight watchers bill! LOL...I need to find that weight loss motivation!

Well my motivation was 2 things...I turn the big 40 on July 26 and I don't want to take this weight with me into the next decade of my life. The other thing was having a total abdominal hysterectomy and going into surgical menoupause as the weight gets harder to loose with menopause and for some reason "they" say it's even worse when it's surgical menopause. I wanted to lose the weight before surgery but couldn't get motivated.

Gotcha...I have some health concerns too that make it even harder to lose weight...and you and I know it is complicated before you add other complications in...I just get so discouraged...the first 10 usually comes off pretty quickly and then I just plateau...BUT you, YOU are doing GREAT! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thought I would pop in and say hi! HI! busy day today for us. My oldest dd and others from her dance school had some demonstrations at a couple of elementary schools today, then had to pick up youngest dd and take to her dance class. meanwhile, dh was home with a sprained ankle. Now home and need to do a couple days worth of work for the office. I really don't want to! I haven't touched my craft stuff this week except to make the sample pages for the scrapbook variety challenge. I need to finish up the goodies for my retreat next weekend and I'm still waiting on some stuff to come in from CM to do that.
I did receive 9 digi pages I had printed. I uploaded them last Wednesday and received them Monday. I was very pleased with them.
I am envious of the SU orders being received. I still haven't ordered for SAB but really want to. It will have to wait another couple of weeks though.
Well, the work isn't going to go away so I guess I better get to it.
Ahh Lela, be careful yucky weather here this week, rain, snow and just yuckiness!!!
Hey Charlsanne, fortunately we had nice weather and the Guys had an AWESOME time. I was able to navigate downtown Chicago to drop them off and pick them up at the Vic, LOL! It was SO fun for me to watch how excited they were to get there early so they could get front row ... ahh memories. I'm sure we'll laugh about going on this road trip someday ;)

Yep the weather turned out better than they originally said, so glad it cooperated for you!!! Although so windy out my way this morning - brrr. And being able to navigate Chicago - great job!!! I hate driving down there, but it isn't bad compared to DC or NY, so can't complain too much I suppose, and we just never go anyway
Glad they enjoyed the concert, and sounds like it was well worth the drive!!!

I was looking for the LIKE button for this one definitely. I had to cart ds1 to bball practice and was anticipating rain/snow/etc in the dark, but it was nothing (except that nasty wind. I hear it howling this morning too!)
Might have a few minutes now to assemble the page I started yesterday. 6 am, no school for ds1, but all of us are up....We do need to be out of the house by 8:15 for speech meet at school though so I'd better watch the time!
Enjoy the day everyone!

I got so engrossed in putting away my SU order yesterday that I didn't get any creating done. I recently purchased one of those large rubbermaid boxes that has metal bars for hanging file folders and I now have a file for every SU color of CS. This is what I was working on as I bought 2 packs of each multi-pack so that I would have at least four sheets of each color with the Color Renovation. I also filed them by the ROYGBIV system which makes it real easy to find what you need if you're simply trying to match some off-the-wall patterned paper. This was a big job but, I'm so glad I did it. Needless to say I didn't get around to fooling with putting my clear stamps together.
Today I am at work so, no paper-fun for me. Hope you guys are having a great day.
Hi guys! Can I join in please? I only recently started Scrapbooking and I am struggling to get my first album complete so I can gaze at it on my coffee table!
I also have great difficulty using stamps on my LO's, any tips? Out of my 13 pages so far, only 4 have stamping on. I really would like to use my stamps more as I've got to the point where I'm saturated with cards and I want to scrapbook more, but I still love stamps...
OK my target is to complete and upload for constructive criticism 8 pages this month to get my scrapbook complete. I already did one LO last night so 7 to go!

We will be joining Charlsanne for a day of cleaning!
JAMMIE DAY TOMORROW HERE TOO!!! (only here it is called SWEATS Day, hehehe... My guys informed me that "WE DON"T WEAR JAMMIES ANYMORE, MOM!") So I fixed that... They each got a FLYLADY BINGO CARD on their bedroom door this morning. WE START WITH THEIR ROOMS TODAY!!!! .

Maybe I should make one for Maddy, something has to give with that child, maybe I can give her a treat if she completes 5 in a row or something, now I have something else to do while watching her

This group is fabulous for encouragement using the items you have. I have broadened my scrapbooking so much since I started being a part of this group. I would have never used stamps, ribbons, 3D items on my pages if it weren't for everyone here!!
You will get so much inspiration, and you can never fail here, that's the best part. The challenges do wonders for me too, so I would recommend looking through some of them to get you going with more stamps too. Would type more, but I have to run and wake up my little one, ugh!!
Just know that you are in good hands!

lol.... hehehe.... Welcome!!!! We would love to have you join us, but I can only see one flaw with your request, constructive criticism may or may not be included. We tend to encourage and enlighten instead. So if you can live with that... please feel free to join us at your own pace, your own risk and most of all, your own passion for scrapbooking. We have a great time here, we have a tendency to complain more about our daily lives than we do about how awful looking our current layout are looking. So with that being said... come hang out with us and we will make sure you have an awesome book for your coffee table and then some...
