Last year I had a goal of 200 page which I surpassed with ease. This year I made my goal for 250 pages which seems daunting at the beginning of the year but it is an amount that I surpassed last year with ease. I already have 16 pages done for the month of January so don't really have a goal for this month, in fact I have not figured out how may pages I need to per month to reach 250 in 12 months...... just figured, that will be almost 21 pages a month.... Yikes, a daunting task!! Not this month as I have #17 on the board now.
Morning! I was reviewing the page I posted last night and next to it was a really gorgeous picture of Crater Lake posted that caught my eye so I clicked on the page. Boy, this poster has beautiful digital pages. She's been posting since September and there is not too many comments on her pages...check it out and leave some love if you get the chance.
In December I made a scrap album from start to finish (actually finished in Jan) by the time I got done I was so bored with the project that catching up on other photos has been a pleasure!!! I will have to post my January pages. I see I did not post any in December but I did complete 36 pages. I made an ABC album for my soon to be 2 year old great grand son. Phew, his birthday present is done!!
I don't plan on scrapping in order for awhile which is the main reason I use 3 ring albums where I add pages in chronological order as I complete them.
I'm a chronological scrapper but I'm currently creating and scanning layouts for a photo book to give as a gift, so it's freaking me out a bit to know what to do with all these random layouts! They're just stacked in a pile in my scraproom, and I keep wondering if I'll even remember I scrapped them by the time I get to 2014 and 2015 in my personal books (I'm still on 2013). . .

I don't know if this would help you since you are a traditional scrapper, but when I use pictures to do a layout digitally, I rename the picture and put an "X" at the end of the filename. I also put the jpeg of the scrap page into a folder that is marked "Printed" or "to be printed" .
I hope everyone had wonderful holidays! My DD's came home for college breaks and while it was great to see them, they had lots of ideas for DIY gifts which we are STILL doing! :p My oldest just left yesterday and my youngest heads back tomorrow! I must confess, I'm ready to get back to my own routines LOL!!
We are making a change to the Stash Buster Challenge by only posting every other week! I will post on the 2nd and 4th weeks (opposite the sketch challenge). Hopefully, this will enable me to participate in the other challenges (which I've been struggling to do) and allow everyone more of an opportunity to participate in ALL the challenges.

I've been scrapping daily this month, and I so happy to have completed six layouts and done all the VSBN challenges except the Decorating & Fun one. I just went over to check out wall art at Wayfair.com, and boy do they have some great stuff. Makes me want to redecorate my house! However, I think I'll settle for using one of their wall prints as inspiration, if I can only narrow it down to one.
Hello! I was up in MI this weekend to watch a gymnastic meet ... Tons of FUN! Strange to be back watching gymnastics but great to see my son Coaching and doing so well.
Back to "real life" which means traveling out this week for the next 3 weeks.
I did manage to get a layout finished watching Alabama beat Clemson.
Just came inside from taking Rufus out to go potty. When we came home from work, no snow...but it's coming down now. Poor puppy...he looked a bit confused when we went out LOL! He chose a spot not in the grass to go and made a beeline back to the door We are getting our first countable snow of the winter and to think it was in the 50s last week!
Hello!
Well, its taken all my energy, but I got the Stash Buster Challenge posted! I caught a nasty cold that's kicking my butt and I wasn't sure I was going to get it done! Finally got some meds from the doc yesterday so I'm hoping to play catch up the 2nd half of the month!
Lela, I really enjoyed VSBN. It literally got my creative juices going. Now I ave done the Ja. Scraplift, the sketch, and the Stashbuster! Maybe I will go back and use them all again for inspiration! . Why do I need a challenge? I guess it is a starting place.
Well, I know Joyce Ann is creating, but where are the rest of you? Hardly anyone participating in my Scraplift Challenge this month.

I'm still working on getting my mojo going..but its been hard to concentrate. My daughter was in a car accident Monday night. She was visiting her sister and grandparents and on her way back to her dorm. She's ok, shaken up and bruised but her car is a total loss. As far as we know (the other car) passengers involved are ok too. So, that's been weighing on my mind, just realized today is Wednesday, I've got to do my Stashbuster Challenge, maybe I can concentrate enough to get a couple of the other challenges done too. I've also been trying to get some very late gift packages out in the mail...two down, three to go! And I'm still trying to get over this virus, my ear is so plugged I can barely hear :( I'm still hoping I can salvage my month of page goals. I've got the challenges printed out, just need to find the time and energy! I'm really hoping I'm on the downside of this virus and things will settle down otherwise. Keep the faith!

So sorry that your daughter was in the accident! I am glad she is ok, but I know it goes deeper than that. All the details of the situation. Maybe, scrapping will be a good break. . Hope you get to feeling better!
Not only have I set a yearly scrapbooking goal for myself, I also want to get my calendar pages done with Thanksgiving weekend, instead of stretching well in to December and totally burning out my creativity, lol.
(I'm also planning to have Christmas cards made before December, but that's another topic entirely.)
I decided that to keep myself going, I need to post on my blog at least one calendar page per month, on the 20th. Which meant that last night (the 19th!) I was making calendar pages! I got two done for my inlaws!
These two both qualify for VSBN challenges too, so yeay!

I started another VSBN challenge last weekend but haven't had time to look for embellishments yet to finish it up. We finally got 1/3 of the last item out for our government project and they received it today....now to wait to see if they approve the part. And we are getting ready to hunker down for lots of snow! DGS was to go on an overnight camping tomorrow night but since the Governor has already declared a state of emergency before the possible storm has even hit, The scouts canceled the outing and will reschedule in February. At least I know DGS won't get sick now like he usually does with winter camping
Poor Rufus this morning...we've got 18" of snow so far and it's still coming down! He has nowhere to go potty! Maybe now is a good time to toilet train ;) lol!
DH and DGS are out snow blowing for the first time and DGS is torturing the poor dog...we can't see him in the snow trails.
Just popping by to apologize for not posting the sketch yesterday. My hubby and I are on vacation for our anniversary and I meant to post the sketch before we left but forgot in all the chaos of packing and giving grandparents instructions about the kids. I will post it when we return tomorrow!
Happy anniversary to you and your husband, Cheryl! It's nice to have time together to just have fun with each other away from home and the chores that necessitates.

We are now shoveling ourselves and some others out of this major snowstorm. We ended up "officially" with over 30" of snow and it's turned out to be the largest single snowfall in 20 years (and I remember that one too ) It was easier though since I was younger ;) Back then it took 4 days before the snow plows got us out of our dead end road at least this time we are right at the township building so we've already been plowed and the sun is shining. Our road to our business hasn't been plowed yet so our snowplow guy can't get to clean out our parking spaces so I may not have to go to work tomorrow...yeah! I'm sure DGS's school will be cancelled so I probably won't have to go anyway. Have a sunny day everyone! I gotta go put cinnamon rolls (homemade) into the oven and then once the boys get home, I'll probably get to scrap some since the TV's will be busy.
I went to a crop for the first time this Saturday. I stayed about 5 hours, couldn't do it anymore. It was my first, I just had to experience it.
I did start some pages, I did not see it possible to lug all the stuff I may or may not use so I finished up two last night at home. Leia's Christmas Tree Kris at the Falls

I did get a page done (Jan Scraplift Challenge) prior to leaving but didn't get a chance to upload
