OK! Finally! After losing this page a second time, I finally deleted the whole file of elements and papers that I was trying to use. Figured something must have been corrupt in it somewhere that it kept shutting down PSE.
I kind of just left VSBN in a hurry this afternoon... but now I am back! It turned out to be a sad but good day. Our friends here in Myrtle Beach called this afternoon and said that their new colt was trying to be born and they needed help, they were waiting on the vet and knew that I have had some experience with this kind of thing from growing up on a farm with lots of horses. I got over there and the colt was coming basically breach. The vet got there and we worked and worked. The colt was born fine but we lost the mother. There was nothing any of us could do....

Wow ladies, so nice to pop into SCS and see scrapbook pages across the top of the gallery home page. usually I see cards when I go in... you guys are ROCKIN... (pun intended...)
I've been scrapping my dec daily. I need to get that done so I'm trying not to let those VSBN challenges tempt me... although they are giving me some ideas...;)
back to work before I run out of steam!

I have a question about digital scrapbooking. Since I just got it, and have now put together my December Daily album, I am looking into ways to print it. I notice that several of you go thru Walgreens, and I'm trying to figure out how to get MY page to print, rather than using their pre-designed templates...
I've also looked at Walmart and Sams (all online) which is usually where I print photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

After quite a few interruptions and mishaps with the program (again), I finally completed another layout...I sort of scraplifted Jennifer's idea on this one.
It's been so long since I've gotten a page done! Here is a layout I've been working on for a while of Richard's trip when he moved from Nashville to Phoenix so we could be in the same city.
I dont' know how you ladies get hundreds of pages done- this took me HOURS!!!!!!!!

Welcome Christine. You do some beautiful cards so I can't wait to see what you come up with on your scrapbook pages! Come and have fun with us! Hopefully you can join in on some of the VSBN challenges from this weekend.
This is SO cute! This layout would also qualify for the SBVC92 challenge. You should add that keyword to your description. It's perfect! Great job! I envy you doing it on paper...I'm not that creative at all!

alright i spend 6+ hours going through what i thought was 3000+ pictures but ended up being in the high 5000's... managed to delete almost a thousand (duplicates and bad/blurry) they're now organized by date but not renamed... hoping to get to that tomorrow and then send them off to get printed and hopefully pick them up monday!!
anyone care to explain VSBN?? in the master thread (with all the challenges) it says you have until friday to upload, but then it says you have 2 hours to complete the challenge... what's the deadline?? or why 2 deadlines???

When you are finished-upload by the due date and time and then the hostesses take a good look at all of them and declare winners-tons of fun!

Sounds good to me! The week is because not everyone can play at the same time but in order to be part of the fun the hostess will choose certain pages for Honorary Mention...this time our HALL OF FAME :-) The two hours is from start to finish of the page(s) but it's on an honor system; lets face it we all get interrupted or need to step away from a project at times -- the 2 hours is for 'actual' time on the page -- 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there...

Am taking a study break for the moment so thought I'd stop in a say hello! Been spreading some love in the Gallery as my "me time" in the evenings, you girls are blowing me away with your creativity!!! Great job!!!!
Don't know how many pages I'll be doing in the next two months, Vancouver Canada has invited the world to join us in Feb/March this year... you know the event I mean?!?!? Yes, the OLYPMICS!!!!! I am so excited for the 2010 Winter Games to be hosted in my home province and am looking forward to smiling at strangers on the street and wondering where in the world they've come from! I am also working for a company involved in the event and have been doing some very cool walk-thrus of venues!
When you watch the Olympics on tv just think... "hey, that's where CanadianKristin lives!!!!"

Am taking a study break for the moment so thought I'd stop in a say hello! Been spreading some love in the Gallery as my "me time" in the evenings, you girls are blowing me away with your creativity!!! Great job!!!!
Don't know how many pages I'll be doing in the next two months, Vancouver Canada has invited the world to join us in Feb/March this year... you know the event I mean?!?!? Yes, the OLYPMICS!!!!! I am so excited for the 2010 Winter Games to be hosted in my home province and am looking forward to smiling at strangers on the street and wondering where in the world they've come from! I am also working for a company involved in the event and have been doing some very cool walk-thrus of venues!

That is awesome! I was in DC last year when president Obama got inaugurated staying with my friend who is the pastor at Capitol Hill United Methodist Church. I worked in the church (which she had opened for visiters who needed a bowl of soup to warm up or bathroom facilities) and it was an amazing experience to meet all these people from all over the US and even from some other countries. I can't imagine something that draws such an international crowd being in my home place. I'm so excited for you. I'm sure we're ALL looking forward to what pages may come from this experience ;)
yiiiiiiikes i don't have any pictures for vsbn... didn't finish organizing and ordering like i had hoped! (but i did get 600 of them organized... about 1/5 of what i need to do!)
i'll go through the threads and take notes on topics and order pictures from there, hopefully i can work on them and make it by the deadline!
I have 13 pages done and, 6 almost done all for VSBN. yay! will link ltr.

That puts me at a total of 7 pages this month on a goal of 4! And that is not including my altered projects or cards I've made. I am having a very creative month despite how I am feeling. ;)

we had the Olympic flame go through our town on Friday. It was really neat to see the streets lined up with people, all cheering and clapping. It was so cool.

Wow!! You have all been busy. Some cool stuff has come out of VSBN. I wish I had time to play. I did get another page done tonight which makes 9 of my goal of 15 pages for january. This one also is for Brnn's book. I am having so much fun with her pages!! Just look at you GROW
Not sure when these were taken...one of the best reasons I know to keep those books up to date. Thanks for looking.
