Julee, your samples are all simply fabulous!! I'm always in awe!!
We just got back from watching "Old Dogs". I laughed til I literally cried. I was quite the skeptic going in, but I lost in the vote. I wanted to see Blindsided. Oh, well. I think I tightened some ab muscles watching this one. It starts off extremely slow, but the middle packs a punch!!
Oh, that movies now on my must-see list. I love a good laugh! My sister saw Blindsided and said it was awesome, so I guess Mark and I have some movie watching in our future! Fun, fun, fun!
I loved the blog hop! A little more 'subdued' release party - tee hee! I enjoyed spending a little more time on each blog. What stunning creations!! Thanks to all the verv-a-licious divas for sharing!
Wow, I just got caught up with the blog posts. All the new sets are great! I did do some Black Friday shopping at 5am this morning, but it was AT HOME doing it all online. There was no way I was going to go to Walmart on Black Friday if I could possibly avoid it. I've been hanging out with my kids all day and decorating the house for Christmas. I need to hit the blog hop, but I don't know how much longer I can stay awake. lol I saw New Moon last Friday with a group of girls and we had a blast. I've always been a wolf girl and that movie just clinched it. Plus, it was so much better than the first movie.
One question: I love the flourish-style circle frame in Thankful Accents. Is it about the same size as the one in Fairy Tales or is it bigger?
Did I miss a release party? I thought I read somewhere about the thing starting at midnight. Now I see 12 pm is NOON!!! Some days I am more blonde than others...literally as well as figuratively. I am so laughing at myself!!! Do tell!!!
I've missed most of today's release party, so I've got some serious catching up to do. I actually avoided all stores today, lol. I hate black Friday! I'll wait until Sunday before I brave a retail store again.
I actually had my third Thanksgiving celebration today over with my Aunt and Uncle. It was wonderful to spend time with them and the rest of my family once again. But it's also nice to be home and have some quiet time.

Oh, I so want to decorate for Christmas, but it will probably be another week or so before we have time to move the furniture to make room for the tree.
Hooray for wolf-girls! And yes, I think they did a much better job with New Moon than Twilight.
Although the inner circles of these stamps are close to the same size, the swirls make the Thankful Accents stamp larger. Fairy Tales is just under 2.25" at the widest point and the Thankful Accents circle is just under 2.75" wide - about a 1/2" bigger.

LOL Betty! There's still time to play in the challenges and check out the blog hop!

I avoid the stores, too! I like my bed way too much to forsake it for long lines and grouchy people! LOL From about now until mid-January, I avoid all retail stores as much as possible. I'm so thankful for online shopping!!!

Wolf girls unite! lol ;)
Thanks for the quick response. It's a gorgeous image! I made it through the blog hop and all that eye candy was well worth staying up a bit longer. Now I'm going to crash! I'm glad I get to sleep in tomorrow.
I'm a little late coming into this conversation, but I had to put in my 2 cents! I love all the new sets. I already put in my order and I must say my December Budget has already been forgotten ;)...
I love ALL the sample cards and can't wait to case a lot of them!
I am BOTH Team Edward and Team Jacob. Wow Jacob is such a force! I am still mad at Edward as far as this movie/book goes, but am sure to forgive him during the next one! I loved all the books except New Moon where I balled my eyes out and had a VERY hard time finishing it even thou I new there were two more books. I went to the movie all by my lonesome and really had to fight back tears every time I thought about the feelings I had during the book...
I went and watched the Blindside with my DH for date night and recommend it to EVERYONE. There is a little something for all. I also had to fight back tears for this movie, but then again, I am a sap!
LOL Betty! There's still time to play in the challenges and check out the blog hop!
Thanks Teresa and Julee! Is there a thread where we are suppose to give links to our cards we loaded at SCS for the challenges? If this is not the place let me know!!!

Hi Betty! There are Mr. Linky forms at the bottom of each of the challenge blog posts, so I didn't set up any threads here on SCS. But feel free to link them here, if you want. It's not necessary, though.
Here are the direct links to each challenge post...

Thanks Julee!! I totally missed the Mr. Linky for the color challenge!
I have the sketch challenge left and I've done them all!!

The mojo was flowing last night!! I made the gift card holder and pizza box simple, I will be using those for my nephews, no frilly stuff!!
I do still have the sketch so I'm not all done yet!!
Have fun decorating your tree, we might do that next weekend!
Sigh, sigh is right! I have to pretend I'm a *tad* bit younger, but I'm already suspending my disbelief for vampires and werewolves, so it's not too much of a stretch! LOL
I was absolutely devastated when I read the book and Edward left Bella. I felt like a part of my soul was ripped out, and I literally cried for days every time I thought about it. I was so glad I made it through that scene in the movie without bursting into tears. I'm such a cry baby! LOL
I think Bella's a "grass is always greener" girl. She's uncomfortable in her own skin, and has no self-worth whatsoever. I'm hoping for a smile by the final movie, though! A girl can hope! LOL
I agree Julee. I was numb after reading that part myself and felt so bad for Bella!! I need to re-read the series again this Christmas to freshen up and enjoy them all over again. I'm going to see the movie on Thursday and can't wait They actually had the movie set of Bella's house about 15 minutes from where we live and it was a zoo down there from what I heard. 24/7 security and the like. Now I'm getting excited about seeing the movie and want to go earlier LOL!

I went shopping this morning at 5 am! Shocking, since a) I've NEVER shopped on Black Friday before, b) I have a deep aversion to the store I shopped at, and c) I don't do mornings at all! The parking lot was full when I arrived. I was totally amusing myself driving around looking for a parking spot exclaiming, "You people are NUTS!" (as if I weren't one of them!). I ended up parking in a nearby field where the grass was up to my knees when I got out of my car. Crazy! But I got what I went for, and I was back home in my jammies snug in my bed by 5:20
Oh the things we will do for a sale LOL! Have a great mental picture of you wading through knee high grass. We have a TON of people from where we live (we are on ly 10 min. from WA State border) head over the border for the weekend to cash in on the deals since our CDN $ is higher now.
Glad you got what you wanted.

Thanks to all DT's for the fabulous challenges! Julee the new release are the BEST!! They are on my Christmas Wish List for sure!
I am done with the fun challenges! It took all day (between cleaning) but, I feel I get a lot accomplished! I also challenged myself more by trying new items I haven't made before! Good times!
Tomorrow I need to get the Christmas cards completed, addressed and ready to go out on Monday~ along with making my first Christmas batch of cookies! Oh I am tired already and its not even Sunday yet!
Hope everyone had a good T Day (if you celebrated) and a great stamping week end!!
