Default designer paper gift bag

Here is the original designer's pattern to the gift bag made from a sheet of 12x12 paper.

I did it with a designer pad from TAC - which is paper weight and it is cute also. I am not quite getting it though I do not think! If I do not use any adhesive then it does not stay together? DO I have to adhere the folded triangle piece to the inside of the bag - that is the only way I could get it to stay together.
Or is it because I am not using cardstock?

I use adhesive even though it is supposed to a no-adhesive bag. The trickiest part is folding in the sides. I had to play around with it until I found a method that worked for me but I don't think I could explain it!!

Ya that would be hard to explain! One of those things you just have to see or get in your brain how it works.

SO I guess adhesive is really necessary then - Thanks!
