thank you so much, i cant wait to try it.

JulieHRR 10-26-2005 09:44 AM

If she can, she might try converting the WORD doc it is in into a PDF format, and that would enable her to upload it as an attachment, and make it easier for folks to download?

Or, if she emails the WORD doc to me, I can do it and upload it for her here in this thread, if that would be of any help. JLMK! :)

She did a beautiful job on it--just wonderful!

dawn g 10-26-2005 09:52 AM

Ok I was playing around and re-did this in a word doc file. Hopefully it's all correct. I re-checked the measurements a couple of times, but I have not made one yet :)

I have a free software program called ScreenHunter...you can take picture of your screen etc....so my sister and I have been taking pictures of Tai Shan. I would like to put some of these photos in this box album, maybe with red and black colors.

And sure, I would be interesting in the 12 x 12 size directions.

I am so sorry, I was trying to write a note to someone about their quote at the bottom of their message. It was about their pantyhose being queen size. Well the message got posted with your comments AAAAAAHHHHHH. Your instructions and scripture quote is not funny the pantyhose thing is. I'm new to this! I must get back on the "yellow brick road" -Nicole

Thanks. For troubled eyes like mine, I opened the template, and then copied and pasted it into a WORD doc where I could enlarge it.

hpyscrpr2 06-14-2006 12:55 PM

Will definitely have to try and make this. I was just in our local scrapbook store and they're advertising this. I'm glad I didn't sign up for this class, a little voice told me to come home and check SCS. Woohoo for listening and saving $$$$ too :p You ladies are awesome and I'm glad to be a part of your world :-D

cassie_lu 06-14-2006 02:14 PM

Thanks to all for sharing the templates and photos of their creations, I am inspired:D

hookedoncrafts 08-27-2006 11:05 AM

Laura, thank you so much for doing this. I can't wait to get started on one for my six year old grandaughter. She saw a scrapbook page while watching with me, that showed baby pictures and up, and told me that is what we need to do. So I think I will do that for her like this. Mary Lee

Sandi*S 08-27-2006 11:00 PM

Hi - thanks for sharing this technique, I've seen it made but didn't know how. I hunted the instructions and found them but still put it off. I had all the time in the world last week to try it but thougt it was too complicated. Your directions put everything into perspective and now I'm ready to try it. Figures though, I'm working everyday this week (actually 10 days in a row - ughh) and I have a workshop scheduled for Wednesday night. So, I'm going to order some designer paper and play when I actually do get some time off.
Do you all think this would be good for a stamp camp??

Thanks for the iput and sharing!!

tasly 08-31-2006 09:22 AM

I did it..

Yay, I did one and just love it:D Thanks so much for all the info ladies! If you haven't tried this you simply must, it really is quite simple and lots of fun!

Here's a couple of my pages, the rest are in my gallery:

stephens3181 11-07-2006 07:40 PM

Thanks for sharing these directions! I've got a Stamp-A-Thon coming up on 11/19 and really wanted to do these as our "photo/scrapbook" item but was waffling b/c I could not find really clear directions. As always, you can find ANYTHING on SCS! God, I love this site!!!

I think I am going to this rather than an Altoid tin...those tins were making me nervous and getting pricy anyway!

ShoppingQueen, they are really so easy and the template and directions are awesome! You'll definitely be able to get one done rather easily and quickly for your grandmother. Good luck!!

ajpmom 01-07-2007 09:06 PM

Thank you!!!

Thank you for the directions. I have made two boxes this past week. One 12 x 12 size and one reducing the measurements to 8 1/2 x 11 size.

My boss is getting married in October and fell in love with the box and wanted 150 of them. So I reduced the size, keeping the same proportions and it worked great. I also convinced them that one for each table would be better, that way only 20 boxes.

I made the small box for an example. It has all my sons T-ball pictures in them. I took it to work first to show by boss, now my son won't let it out of his sight. He loves it and thinks it cool that he is in a box.

The only trouble that I had, was not all four sides being exactly the same size, they were off by fractions of an inch. I originally scored them with a stylus and a ruler, next time I will use the scoring blade on my paper cutter to see if this makes exact score lines.

This is a beautiful project when complete. I plan on using it at my up coming workshops. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

Rachael :)
