I always love to see the Misti on YouTube and the ones that are well loved by some of the most talented and prolific card makers. No care on the ink on their mats or fingers and the Misti just rocks on. Comparison after comparison and it always comes up on top. ❤️❤️
OH MY GOODNESS! I NEED TO check these forum challenges more often! LOL AND I NEED TO get to work for this "challenge?" Just to post something that we made with our Misti? Am I right?
Thank goodness I have a MISTI because I forgot how hard it is to stamp a silhouette image onto very dimpled water colour paper. This fairy looked like she had measles for the first 5 stampings. I kept changing brands and types of ink, the final layer is Distress Ink.
The little bird, fairy and wing are three seperate stamps...ahhhh the magic of MISTI.
Used MISTI for these Layered Kitchen Sink Trees, and by using a small foam blending sponge to apply the ink to the silhouette deer, and slowly building up color as I repeatedly stamped, I was able to create a layered look to them as well.
HOW BEAUTIFUL!!! LOOOOVE these layered trees!!! My husband would LOVE the deer! ;)
The MISTI has made it possible for me to stamp die cuts again. I used to get so frustrated when things wouldn't line up that I stopped using all my cute PTI dies for a while. But now...
K. As promised...here's one from me. AND, I have pics on my blog showing a side by side comparison of how the image looked just stamped w/ Memento & how it much better it looked overstamped with Versafine after coloring!
As some of you know already, I had made MANY cards with MISTI. But this latest one is by far my favorite! With MISTI's help, I am able to move the cling stamp however I want and do a lot of detailed stamping. Thank you, Illiana, MISTI truly is incredible.
For my details of this card, please visit my blog. ( I will add this card to the Gallery soon). Yes, Virginia...: Stamping with Spectrum Aqua Makers & MISTI
OH MY GOODNESS! I LOVE EVERYONE'S WORK on this post! EVERYONE has done a GREAT JOB on their cards! LOVE the little tutorials everyone is posting too!!! There ISN'T ANYTHING LIKE "The Misti!" ;)
I couldn't have done this without my MISTI because the sentiment is not curved and the banner is! Stamp is digi Mushroom Porcupine from Crafin Desert Divas!

SmilynStef, I have admired the very bell stamp you've used here for so long! Every time I go to buy it, the store is OUT! LOL You did a GREAT JOB on it! I can't do those layering images without my Misti either! ;)
Susan, what a CUTE IMAGE! I LOVE that you colored it in different colors than the norm! LOOOOVE the pinks in the sky & on your little Porcupine! TOTALLY SWEET! AND the banner, I've done the same thing! LOL The Misti IS #1! ;)

I HAD TO use my Misti, as the background stamp isn't large enough to cover the background. I can't stamp it using my eye & an acrylic block & get it right! ONLY with my Misti! AND I double stamped it too, so it would show up & guess what? IT CAME OUT PERFECT EVERY TIME! ALL DUE TO my MISTI! ;)
Ok, trying to fix this... I can't delete the above comment as the tab is gone. :( So, here is my photo & how I used my Misti!
I started out making this card for the Misti- Faded Focal Point Challenge, & after making it, realized I hadn't used the focal point in the background after-all! LOL I was making a set of cards that had the same theme. So, I decided to use it for Pictures of your Misti projects! ;) I used a background stamp that is small. My Misti helped me line up the chicken wire perfectly to cover the whole background. I couldn't do this without my Misti. My eyeing it & looking through an acrylic block just isn't the same! I also double stamped each part with two stampings of Versa Mark, to make sure it showed up. PERFECT, EVERY TIME!!! ;)
Why the bright green? I was reaching for a color that the Versa Mark would show up on & thinking of Spring! ;) AND YES, there are chicken eggs this color, they're in our coop! ;)
This was my favorite project with the MISTI thus far. The swallowtail was attached to the lid and the background brushstrokes stamp was placed where my cardstock normally would go to complete the kissing technique. Once swallowtail was "rainbowed" up, I stamped the image onto cardstock (I actually kissed and stamped twice). Then I inked up the swallowtail's outline in black so I could heat emboss... the outline also took two attempts until I was satisfied with it. I never would have attempted this without the MISTI! I couldn't have done this without my MISTI because the sentiment is not curved and the banner is! Stamp is digi Mushroom Porcupine from Craftin Desert Divas!
Hi, This card most definitely could not have been done without my MISTI. I used Craftin Desert Divas Hello Beautiful repeated stamped with white pigment ink on kraft. I then colored it in with pigment inks. Here is my You Tube Video:

I have another photo for you of using my Misti! This is Graffiti Word Art! I thought the technique of placing your words around the main Word is self explanatory in the photos.... I COULDN'T have done it without smudges, without my MISTI!!!

This was made for the monthly SCS Fan Club Christmas Challenge. I can't remember the last time I didn't use my Misti when I stamped. On this card, I colored first w/ Copics then did a Prismacolor pencil overlay. Using pencils always makes the lines disappear so with the image still in the Misti, I stamped over it again. Problem solved! I find I'm using my pencils much more again now that I can do this. Here's my Season's Snowflakes
