We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
I have two very important events that are starting off my weekend! One is the Dare To Get Dirty Fan Club Challenges (here's a link to the what it's all about) and second it's my wedding anniversary!
So the challenge this week is to represent something you love - it can be a tool, a technique, a color, a person or an image and use that as your inspiration today - and remember to use at least two different mediums.
Our forum is here as a safe place to try out mixed media! Our approach is to make it easy and doable with papercrafting supplies you already have, although a few painterly supplies are good to have handy. Make sure to have at least 2 mixed media mediums to make it count as mixed media and most of all have fun!

Oh, I love Christmas and decorating...so I've incorporated both of those into an altered art piece. For my mixed media ingredients I've used heated embossing powders, Lindy's Stamp Spray, Modge Podge and inks!
I am a wannabe artist...a slow and shy one, haha. I love the Mixability challenge because of the various mediums used in many creative forms. Playing and trying new/different techniques has become my obsession, to the point my husband may stage an intervention and direct me to AA (Arts Anonymous). Here is a leftover piece I resurrected that didn't make it to Kellijo's DTGD challenge, MIX131 Distressed Happiness by asweetjewel - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

What a great idea for a challenge! I chose to use Mixed Media techniques and mediums for the things that I love- texture paste, stenciling, Gelatos, Distress Stains along with rolled flowers :-)
