Default Stamp Journal Pages

When I first started stamping I created pages for my stamp journal. My stamp journal is actually several 2" binders, grouped alphabetically by stamp catagories and one for tools (chalk glitter, etc.). I don't have a page for markers because I use the color charts provided by the marker companies.

For sets of stamps, I photocopy the label and clear stamps I photocopy the set and then tape the photocopy onto the stamp journal page. I may stamp a set in several places. I have one page for the entire set and then I will stamp the words in the category (birthday, thank you, etc.), I stamp the flowers with flowers, shapes with shapes, etc. This allows me to find the stamp in multiple ways.

I also keep samples from magazines and catalogs that coordinate with the stamps so I can see ideas on how to use the stamps. The cutouts from magazines are taped to whitepaper and stored in page protectors with the applicable stamp or category (birthday, flowers, etc.).

I used to store my journal in 3" binders but the they were to heavy so I switched to the smaller binders.

I keep the pages with pencils and chalk colors by stamp desk and I take them with me to the LSS when I need to buy more supplies.

I hope the .pdf of the journal pages are of some use.

EDIT: Word Doc version is a few posts below or click *here*.

Wow! These are awesome! I don't know if I could ever find enough time to catalog all mine, but I sure would like to. Any chance you have the original files (word or excel or publisher?) so that we can fill them in on the computer? Thanks so much for sharing!

stamphappy1650,

Your twenty photos show a very Happy Stamp Room - no wonder you are "Stamp Happy." You have done so much work to have it organized so beautifully! You are very clever to use the upside-down display stands for storing paper and to have built your own stamp pad holder. Does this holder have a back on it or is it a base with vertical dividers?

Thank you for your generosity in sharing your PDF files of your Stamp Journal pages. They printed out perfectly! And now you have even shared the actual document pages so we can have the real thing right on our own computers!! You did a tremendous amount of work to make these seventeen pages of forms - that is generosity above and beyond!! Thank you for all of your sharing.

Last, but not least, your display of flamingos is the best of all - fantastic! And I'm sure it is very motivating and inspiring to have them sitting there sending you encouragement!! I have a room that will be an all-purpose stamping and office type room, but it needs lots of work to even make a clear surface on which to stamp, let alone allow space for my own flamingo collection.

Again, thanks so much!

Wow, Carolyn this is such a nice message. The stamp pad holders have back on them. They just an open box with vertical dividers. That is why it was so simple to make.

You'll get your stamp room/office done when the time is right. You just got to love flamingos. Anything that pink has to be happy, right?

Take care and I'm glad you can make use of the journal pages.

Pauline

Thank you soooo much for this! I have been tossing ideas around of how to organize my toys for a while, but my mom recently got on the bandwagon and has been placing HUGE orders to help out a friend's business. She showed up at my house last week with 15 stamp sets for me among other stampin supplies. Then she made me sit down with her and highlight ALL the things in the catty that I wanted. At this rate if I don't start keeping track of things now, I'll NEVER get it all done. I really appreciate you sharing this! I was so super excited to find this! thanks thanks thanks! And yes I have an awesome mother too!

this is great! I'm just starting to stock on stamps (I'm an avid scrapper that is jumping into more stamping) I hope to use your system when my craft room is done. TFS!

Simply Amazing! Thanks so much for generously sharing the fruit of your labor with the rest of us! I have a system of sorts but this is so much better. Great to help keep track of who has which of my toys too!
