My NEED For A ScrapBox!
OH MY GOSH!!! These things are just too cool!!! :cool: LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
So why don't I have one yet?!? Well I was waiting to win one, silly!
I began scrapbooking.........wow.......almost 12 years ago. (I am getting old!) I actually started out with heavyweight printer card stock, Sharpies, and some Suzy's Zoo stickers! As you can imagine, those pages just *rock*! hehehe! Then I graduated to some colored card stock, a little patterned paper, and some more stickers, which all fit conveniently in a Sterilite plastic container. Well, those supplies must have really really *really* liked each other, because they have been mass reproducing ever since!!! When we bought our house 8 years ago, I decided the dining room would be the best place for me to work. That worked out quite well in the beginning! But then I decided I could save SO much money by making my own cards as well! A *whole* nother slew of supplies began making their way into my ever shrinking dining room! Needless to say, we haven't eaten at the table in that room in a long time. No, I mean a REALLY long time! We are talking in years, not days or even months, ladies. I'm a little embarrassed to even be admitting this in a public forum! :oops: Can everyone on SCS see this? Hmmmm.......I may have to go back and edit some parts!
It seems I have tried every possible storage solution out there. From plastic drawers to plastic tubs to wheeled totes to cubes to bookcases.....*sigh* Thus far, none of them seem to really work for me. A few months ago I got the bright idea to move everything up to my attic. (well, what I could fit up there. The table is still missing!) Yeah......that's not really working so well either. Aside from the fact that there are 2 split staircases to climb each way, everything is spread out all over the cut up attic and just one big mess. If I feel particularly brave, or lose what sanity I have left, I may add some pictures later. :shock: So basically, I am thinking maybe this would be the perfect solution! A ScrapBox, in ONE *corner* of the dining room, with everything at my fingertips! Because we all know, that when you have 3 kids and endless housework, 90% of your time is spent on the main level of the house. I SO wish I had thought about these things when buying a multi-level house! Aaaah, to be young and dumb again!
Well it's time for me to drag my popcorn popping knees up those said flights of stairs to prepare for a class tomorrow! To be continued.......
