I clearly have a dilemma with my flower organization. I have this beautiful room, but it just doesn't seem organized enough for me. Although I have my Cuttlebug stuff organized and I do organize by Holidays. But flowers, that's another story.
well, about a week or two ago, i find the cutest shelf for my room at a thrift shop. and this weekend i bought the paint for it. once it is painted and hung, it will be filled with jars of embellies and flowers.
i plan to group the flowers by color, reds, pinks, yellows, orange etc etc so i'm guesing about 10 jars should do it, to include black and whites too.
I organize by brand but by color would be useful as well. I have mine in boxes by brand but if I had a shelf I could put jars on I would fill the jars by brand and put them out where I can enjoy looking at them. I would probably use them more if they were where I could see them.

Mine are organised by colour - and each colour is in a plastic bag, and they are all stored in an empty sweet shop style large plastic jar so easy to see and keeps dust off them too.
I keep mine sorted by color in jars. I have the smallest ones in jars about the size of those prima milk bottle jars. Bigs are in large plastic jars. I'm not sure how many jars, but some I double up, eg. black and brown, orange and yellow. I probably don't have as many as you, lol. HTH
i just redid all mine into jars and I love it! All my buttons, ribbons and flowers are in jars and on the same cubby in my room. I did it 2 weeks ago and have been 'testing' the room before I make the drapes...it works! And it is pretty to boot! After the drapes get made (I have one room to paint and then I can sew) it will be my dream room for this house. next house? I am have my own studio in a separate little bungalow...just as soon as we win the Texas Lottery!
I love flowers and think the bottles are cute, but I couldn't deal with all the space they took up and I was constantly knocking something over when I wanted to use them.
So I took all my flowers out of their containers and put them in small plastic bags and they are in iris carts along with my other embellishments sorted according to color.
I love it this way.
I usually keep the flowers in their packaging to make sure that I don't mess up with credits. But with leftovers, I organize them in jars according to color.
I see by your pictures that you seem to like to organize by color, I would stick with that for flowers. Is there are reason you would want to organize by manufacture or other category?
I have jars by color (which looks great) and is very useful for project selection. Some, however, are too fragile or in pieces and have to go into a shallow drawer.
