Default Custom Storage for Embossing Folders and Dies

Are you looking for an efficient but inexpensive way to store your folders and provocraft dies? Someone in one of my email groups was too. She asked us for ideas and I wrote this tutorial for her on how to make your own custom storage sleeves.

You can see it HERE on my blog.

I have used this example from Karli Miranda's blog and LOVE it. You make a sample of each embossing folder and keep it on a jump ring. It is numbered and corresponds to a numbered embossing folder which I keep in a regular CD storage box. I find I use the folders so much more when I know exactly what I have, it is a wonderful system, she is brilliant!! Hope it helps.

In checking out your blog post (love the idea) I noticed that there once was a Celtic knot A2 folder do you know if this is still available. I have not seen this. I need that one ;)

Just to let you know, that isn't MY blog. I did a little Googling and I can't find that folder either :( Sorry!

figures, I only got into card making less then a year ago, but I love most things Celtic, even married a Cape Bretoner of Scottish descent.

I started this same system of making tag samples, numbering & placing them on an o-ring several months ago. I really need to get that project finished!!!! Great system!!!!

Love the idea. I made some of these pages yesterday. Except I put a piece of thin chipboard (cereal box) in the folder before sewing. then cut the slit for the lower pockets after sewing. This way you get pockets on both sides of the cardboard.
