    If you think you'd like to try Buffalo, I'm leaving town early friday afternoon. May pick up a friend in Owego, or Cortland depending on how everyone's schedule works out. You should commit soon as there are only 10 spots left. If you have anything I could answer just call my cel 760-6710

    Shoebox swap is where you prepare the makings for a project, usually a card and bring enough for everyone at a table of 6 to 8 people. You bring cut paper, stamps and ink for your project in a shoebox or some such container. You then rotate around the table doing each project and at the end of the day have 6 to 8 different cards. The afternoon varies depending on the organizer Forums at Splitcoaststampers here's a link to the Buffalo swap. Seriously just start posting and my friens will chat with you too.

    I hope this gets to you..yes, I would be interested in filling-in, just to get to know folks. However, I am a terrible chicken about driving in the snow..just saying!
    About Grandchildren, Yes, she is adorable and certainly brilliant..but...7 to 1? 'Nuf said. And, what's a Shoebox Swap anyway?

    Hi Cattiann, My DD Julie (frecks96 on sparkpeople) just told me about you! We have a get together planned for 2 weeks from now, but unfortunately registrations closed on the 1st. If there was a cancellation would you be interested in filling in? It's a shoebox swap in Endwell.

    Have you been to the get together forums yet? In NY alone there are events planned for Poughkeepsie in March, Buffalo May 1st, and Syracuse May 22nd. Feel free to just jump in and chat with the crazy ladies who hang out there.

    If you are willing to travel the Buffalo one is well worth the time. I plan to stay 2 nights and jammie stamp in the evening with a group of friends. You are more than welcome to join us.

    BTW my only grand daughter is smarter AND prettier than ALLL of yours ;^)

    Hello, All,
    I am a Stamper, Scrapper, Crocheter, Reader, Walker and a SparkPeople member. I've been married to the same great guy for 46 years this coming June; we have 2 awesome daughters and 7 of the most beautiful, intelligent grandchildren in the history of the known universe!
    I live outside Binghamton, NY and love to walk in our wonderful parks.
    Is anyone out there that lives near me and might want to get together?
