Good Saturday Morning & welcome to the Inspiration Challenge! It's my pleasure to be your hostess today. Can you believe it's already March?
This week's challenge is brought to you by Quiltspirations Pinterest Board. This board was suggested to me by Colleen (Katchoo1) and it is fabulously rich in color & design! I could spend a week being inspired by the quilts there. Head on over, pick one (or more) that speak to you & create your own masterpiece. Please link us up to what inspired you.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, & since some sites have limited viewing areas, I've uploaded MANY images to help inspire you. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
**Please note: Our site this week is a Pinterest Board, please visit QUILTSPIRATIONS for your inspiration. **
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining us on this inspiration journey.
NEED HELP LINKING A CARD? FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Open 2 windows. One for your card, one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type what you want to show before the link.
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Sorry, folks! We're still having some posting problems. I added a bunch of attachment pics, but they all dropped off. Please just visit the Pinterest Board linked above.
Thanks so much for using my Quiltspirations board for this week’s challenge! I have wondered for so long what the amazing,y creative folks here would do with some of these quilts as spring boards and I’m so excited to find out. Plus it’s great motivation for me to get off my butt and make some cards based on my own board. Hope you all enjoy and I can’t wait to see everyone’s cards!
I appreciate the effort of quilting but have never been in love with them...UNTIL NOW. Oh my gosh, the first few have blown me away. The leaves and geometrics in particular. I have an aunt who quilts and I need her to look at this board. Wow.

I could get lost for days in that Quiltspirations pinterest board. Thanks Colleen for suggesting it and Julie for pointing the way! Here's my card for the challenge:
I had time to play in this week's challenge. I chose an easy alternative quilting pattern and translated it into this Thank You Card. Thanks for looking!
