Here is my card for today. It is one I was glad and thankful to make, as it is for my sister, who is my stamping buddy and was in a terrible car accident yesterday. (She is going to be okay!!)
I loved the shoe and was inspired - by ladybugs (that's three bug cards in the same 2 weeks!)
What a funky sneaker! Sad thing is my DD and my mom would wear them. :P I was inspired by the swirls and the colors for my card. I had a lot of fun making it, even though my hands are covered in green and red ink. tfl
This is my take on the camo sneakers. I tried to look up the $ on Neiman Marcus catty. but couldn't find it. So her is my SILLY KID CARD. Thanks Karen for this fun challenge.

BTW--did you know that they have whole websites dedicated to painted sneakers? AND templates for blank sneaker styles, so you can color them the way you want to? The things that I learn for the Inspiration Challenge!

Beverly, thanks for your research. Sometimes I just have to look stuff up, too! LOL :p
I am on a roll... This is my fourth challenge this week and I am lovin' it. It makes me think outside of the box I usually work in. Thanks for the challenge!
When I saw this shoe it immediately reminded me of a stamp I rarely use and of when our dog used to chew up my daughters shoes. Thankfully he has pretty much grown out of chewing things. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love this shoe and am seriously thinking about getting them...hum. I could think of it as a business expense since I find inspration from them, ha ha ha!
My first attempt, not the best but it was pre-coffee
Second shot which I like much better, proof I need my coffee

Well, Karen, one thing for sure--you could never hide out in the restroom with those shoes!! Hey Beverly, I have a pair similar but I designed them by accident while painting the house (lol)--here's mine Camo Butterfly

Took me way too long, but I had lots of fun making my card. Did I tell you that I love those sneakers? I could wear them with my red hat & purple dress... bwaahaahaaha!... oops, I don't have either of those.

No way?! Do share! I actually love these sneakers (and would probably wear them) - you should see the Keds I was married in ;)
Better late than never! I'm 6 for 6 on challenges this week! The first thing that came to mind when I saw this sneaker this morning was the swirls of the shaving cream technique, so that's what I did. Thanks for looking!
